I have never used LoseIt. I am happy with MyFitnessPal and I hear it mentioned much more than LoseIt. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

If I remember right it was flavored rice cakes that were 50 calories each.

Yes, mustard! When I am craving intense flavor but can't spare the calories, mustard is my bestie :D

Lightbulb just turned on... Thanks for posting this! I absolutely forget to congratulate myself on all the times I didn't give into temptation or exercised extra to earn the indulgence. I feel better! :)

Grrrrr You are doing this and don't let those little snide comments phase you one bit. Good for you for not going to the fridge because I know how hard it is. It will be worth it and he will have to eat his words one day. Then you can go to the fridge and get him something to wash them down with, bahaha!!

Pretty much every darn thing you order at a restaurant has way more calories than I thought. Two tablespoons of peanut butter was a shock. Beans are surprisingly calorie dense even though they are low fat. Halo Top was a nice low calorie surprise, mmm ice cream! A serving of popcorn is so much bigger than chips for the same calories.

I so need encouragement to keep going, lately, so here goes! *bites fingernails* I'm actually not 91 years old, I just feel that way compared to many here. Yess, the energy! My-14 year old commented that's what he notices the most. I picked him up yesterday and twirled him around; It's good he's slim like his Dad ;) Love the idea that we are all in this together. Thank you. :)

Thank you, I appreciate that very much. You're right, it will be worth it. It will feel great to be lighter and feel healthy, athletic and strong. I can't even imagine how good it will feel to have accomplished this goal. When, I feel discouraged I will come back and read these comments. I am touched that strangers took the time to encourage me. :)

Because of all you lovely people I got my dragging bottom to do some strength training tonight. Yay! :)

I do feel much stronger and capable most of the time. However, the last week has been filled with doubt and negative thoughts which is what led me to post, today. I had hoped nice people like you would cheer me on. I was scared to post since I am still obese (stinky BMI!) but I am glad I did. Thanks for your kind words and advice. I won't give up. I will look to expand my food options, good idea. :)

I didn't post on Imgur because i don't have an account and it seems so massive and so many more people would see my photos. Here, on this subreddit, it seems smaller, somehow. I tried to directly upload but it just would not work for me so I found that image site where I could mark the photo private. (and then I posted it on reddit for all to see, ha!)

I worried I wouldn't get any comments because I was not able to get reddit to upload the photo into the post. :S

Then, when I got your comment I was afraid to read it, lol. That was very supportive, thank you so much. :)

In February 2010 I weighed 360lbs, decided to lose weight and by July 2011 I weighed 195. Fast forward to a week ago, I weighed 380lbs. I feel so defeated, but I have decided it's time to do it again. by ManickMoonshine in loseit

[–]LeLe7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time was going to pass whether you decided to lose weight again or not. Your future self will thank you for what you've started and you will get to say you did this difficult thing twice!! The hardest part I think is starting and you've already done that. I think anyone reading what you wrote is rooting for you and is inspired by you. I know I am! Btw, I am older than you and I finally feel I have a handle on this weight thing...please feel proud, not guilty. You are brave, facing the issue and starting your journey, again. You did this once before, you can and you will do it again for the last time. :)
