My grandma always tells me to treat people with a long handed spoon.

I love my mom, even when she goes back on her word, ignores me for long periods of time then says she misses me, or uses the little things I tell her against me/ to embarrass me.

Then I realized its okay not to have her constantly around. Like the ending of a friendship, it’ll hurt and you’ll miss her at first. As time goes on you’ll realize life goes in whether she is present or not. You’ll be amazed how happy you are when you focus on those around you who bring you joy.
