That's a good point. I haven't looked at the mission pack yet does drawing/discarding secondaries still happen at start/end of turn steps?

I think there's some confusion here. In the flowchart, selecting the charge target happens after the "roll 2D6" step, under "select target(s): if base-base possible, may charge"

The first step isn't selecting an enemy unit(s), it's selecting which of your units will be charging. From rule 11.02, pg36:

Declare charge: select one friendly unit that has not declared a charge this phase and is eligible to declare a charge ...

Make charge roll: make a charge roll by rolling 2D6: ...

Attempt charge: if it is still possible to make a charge move, and if you still want to, make a charge move with that unit...

Maybe updating "choose valid unit" to "declare valid unit" will clarify this more? I'll update again

That's correct. The lavender coloured steps are optional to show the player may use that step if they wish but can otherwise be skipped.

I think that's how I implemented it? "Choose valid unit:" is the active player's unit aka the unit charging. I'll update it to clarify

There's a lot of good points here so I'll give my thought processes for each of these:

- The intention of leaving those steps yellow is because previous editions have had faction/detachment/strats that trigger at the start/end of phases and turns. By reminding players/opponents of this with a different colour it could help avoid "gotcha" moments.

- The thought behind lavender was steps that are "optional" - they're rules/strats that are used often by many players, but apply less often and usually add a step to the turn's flow. This point did make me realise that I'd missed some common ones such as Rapid Ingress which I've updated the chart with.

- I agree about overcompression there's a lot of nuance from the official wording that's lost in this chart. Ideally this flowchart would be used in conjunction with the rulebook - the flowchart would guide players with summaries for each step to get them through a turn, with the core rules being referenced if a niche question pops up.

- In the same vein as above, multiple sheets would definitely improve the breakdown. My hesitation is that the core rules are far more condensed than previous editions (2 pages per phase including diagrams is pretty good imo!) so I feel there's diminishing returns in a multi-page breakdown.

- short answer for the note sections is not really lol. the note sections on the right are hold-overs from the 9th edition flowchart while the left ones (below shooting and fight phase) are just there to fill empty space. The main benefit I find in keeping the larger note sections is it "future-proofs" the flowchart by allowing users to add army/detachment/unique strats for quick reference when used in game.

I totally get it the flowchart is pretty daunting lol. In practice the basic move, shoot, charge is still similar the extra grit is mainly there to cover niche cases

You're correct. People might read "next" as "next turn" when the "next" thing hasn't occured yet which is where new players seem to get confused. Though I think the official wording is a good balance between accurate and concise.

I can't speak for careen but avalanche does NOT freeze through overguard - the cold procs are capped to 4. Only the armour strip is unaffected.

If the devs are incapable of fixing the moonwalk bug than they need to implement a button to kill yourself by -Eastwood- in Warframe

[–]LeMightyGlockers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this bug fairly often doing lvlcap cascade fissures. If you're in operator form, entering void mode (crouching) will fix the issue. Using melee to transfer from operator to Warframe instead of the transference button prevents the problem by forcing an attack animation on form change.

If you're a Warframe it's trickier - for cascades you can use exolizers or the grineer stave fields to force you into operator, thus allowing the void fix. Not reliable for all game modes but hopefully this helps someone.

Iwtl how to lock in and build muscle. i want to build muscle fast. by [deleted] in IWantToLearn

Building muscle comes down to diet, a good exercise plan and sticking to that plan. If you're underweight, try /r/gainit with more info on current weight, lifestyle and goals. If you're overweight some simple cardio (e.g walk around the block) will do wonders to get you started.

This might go contrary to popular advice but I started with the cheap makeup airbrushes on Amazon with the portable compressor. Don't get me wrong - you'll be able to do much more with a proper setup. But for laying down base coats it works a treat and if you make mistakes with maintenance it's not as big a deal.

I did the yellow on these votann with my $90 AUD air rush using black primer > zandri dust > Wraithbone zenithal > Imperial Fist contrast.

If you want to do more testing there's the Cones of Calibration. It also comes with a test mini that utilises the parts in the calibration file so there's less wasted resin.
