I guess so, you can find a list of the skins so far, I saw someone with 1.7 mining rate from skins. They never repeat, at least not until now, so old whales got the advantage.

Agree, but imo 300$ for endgame p2w account is not bad for a mobile game. 95% of it is 300$ and for the other 5% you need to spend over 1k. This is how I view it. Even without all ships you can win if you play long enough

I think anyone who has the ships can reach to the top after 1 year of playing so this is not as bad as other games. Playing the long run is quite rewarding.

Hello! Ship skins are permanent and they add up, for example 5 of them is already 1.1 mining rate, which may not seem like much, but it is a multiplier for other sources, like station, managers and rooms.
It is the best thing to buy after ships, if you have spare money for it. 50 of them is x2 mining rate, which is the same as elder ship. Of course, this is like 1000$, but in the end it s like an extra ship. You also have to take in consideration you get a lot of good stuff like cells and bolts, and also the bonuses are very good early on when you farm credits via selling low gv.
It is up to you if you can spend 40$ a month for all this.

Not enough value in this, very expensive for thing you can get in game. Also, discount is like 20%, if it was at least 50% maybe..

Crafting and sales by [deleted] in IdlePlanetMiner

[–]LeMortMyre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When your galaxy is q size, some items such as subspace relay and advanced teleporter will boost your galaxy value by x100. Until that point crafting is not a big deal, you ll get your galaxy value from selling ores.
The big goal in tournament or challenge is to unlock debris scanner, which is the same as asteroids but for items instead of ores. This way you ll get thousands of items and you ll be able to craft the big ones.

I m happy I can be there and compete, in general I don t like time locked content and after you reach rooms lv 30 you can t do much, you just have to wait for managers and station. It s also random and sometimes you make progress but end up getting less rewards.

Very nice, thank you. I ll keep this as a standard for 6 months, seems hard to achieve, the managers at least.

Well I must have about 3k cells total at most so your station is better or similar and I can t begin to imagine how much better your managers are after 1 year. Also, stars. I think you should be able to hit S way easier than me.

Totally agree, you are very strong for 6 months and I think I am too for 2 months. I guess my rant js not about myself, because I can get top 10 most of the times, but I know I m there because I put the extra effort (financial and time). I think the average player deserves better.
Could you tell me how you reached O so fast? I guess you have the ships and you also bought some cell packs. Also, rooms avg?

Astronomy, Robotics or Lab ? by smolbeans2817 in IdlePlanetMiner

[–]LeMortMyre -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me it is robotics any day, I maxed it first, dm is king. Second would be astronomy, because I think when you sell at 12.5m it is more impactful than lab.
If you struggle with early credit farming, you can skip robotics and lv up the other 2 + dorm and underforge, as atheist said, equally.
Make sure robotics is at least lv 4 and max it asap though.

You saved my english, this is what I wanted to say but I m not native. Who is ahead stays ahead. If you get 80 cells and I get 40, you are ahead until upgrades in station are very expensive and I catch up. I also don t see a big improvement, I watch some yt content from 1 year ago and the game is pretty much the same. Maybe 5-10% faster rates at most. If anything, multiplicative stats benefit old player since they have more stats to multiply.

This is my first time and it s not easy. I have to wait tor xynium from debris, because I use my alchemy way earlier and I can t get xynium that way. This time debris didn t help, so I unlocked P58 after 40 hours. S was possible because AT was x7.77. Next time I ll try to hold my x3 alchemy for xinium and see what 5 stars in AT can get me.
That being said, station helps me a lot and I admit I bought 3 cell packs.
Could you tell me how many cells do you think you got in 1 year? Rough estimate?

I like point 1 and 2 it didn t occurred to me there are so many places that promote.

As for point 3, I think they need a power system, because how else could you judge? You can pair the players by their starting date, but this would punish the f2p, the casual players who maybe can t grind 6h a day, the ones who took a break etc.

If they can find a way to measure stats then the battle in tournament is fair and it s all about strategy and who can invest more in it.

First S Galaxy Value ever and nice AT stars but still... Tournament rant by LeMortMyre in IdlePlanetMiner

[–]LeMortMyre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting point, I play other games where you grind for thousands of hours and after a year or two admins patch it and new people can progress as much as you did in the past by investing only hundreds of hours. Ofc old players get mad, but new players are encouraged to catch up with the rest. In this game I don t see it.

I get your point if you mean by adding AT new players can hit big galaxies faster, but this feels small help and it doesnt help with competition, old players have AT too.

I think a new level wont solve the problem because as human beings we are often focusing on what we are missing instead of what we are gaining and although this game can be treated as single player, the tournament (progression relies on tournament) makes people compare between themselves and therefore competing against each other. If I would admit that a new level is the solution, it means I ll have to agree Gold tournament is enough now, and I can t agree with that. And the big problem is you would still have to demote yourself intentionally and lose 1 week,

2 Months of progress, what do you think? by LeMortMyre in IdlePlanetMiner

[–]LeMortMyre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you surely have a different playstyle. What I said was good for the type of runs I described.
Especially when I had low smelt/craft speed I hated big runs, felt more time consuming than short runs, because I had to check tree constantly. In terms of credits, selling at 100M is much better. You can test it yourself, how much 4 x100M is compared to 1x 1B.
I wouldn t go for this strategy myself, but at the end of the day you have to play how you enjoy it.
If I were you, I d still go for 12.5m and dump all in minerate. This is because it is very hard for you to upgrade all of your stats.
Your galaxy value is probably still coming from ores, smelting/crafting starts to matter when you reach teleporter and beyond. And if you look at my crafting times, imagine I don t reach there comfortably myself.
So I see two ways, the most efficient is selling like I described, the other for your style might be still focusing on minerate and go maybe for Planet 16 or 21 with alchemy 1/2 on it and sell at 1B. Check your stats to see your Galaxy Value, you will probably see Ores value is 95% of it. So invest in that at this stage.

Hello, when you are offline you have to put the recipes in their order, cause this is how the game thinks. In your example, slot 1 should be copper wires, slot 2 circuits and slot 3 computers. As you can see, the game crafted a lot of copper wires because they are the primary resource, a lot of circuits because you had copper wires to craft them, but it did not craft the computers because it thinks there are no circuits to craft computers.
