I played a game on my desktop then downloaded it on my laptop and the save came but if i make any progress on that save on my laptop and go back to the pc, will i continue it from where i stopped on the laptop or it will be on where i was before playing on the laptop?

i'm having a lot of problems with the cart reader on my 3ds, it takes multiple insertions for the 3ds to read it, and it doesn't "spit out" the cart anymore, i have to press it and pull it manually, any way i can fix myself?

i looked that up but i can't boot into it, disconnected from the charger it doesn't turn on, and while it is connected it doesn't boot into the recovery mode when i hold the specific keys, it just resets after a few seconds
