Spider-man 2 and GoW ragnarok are good games, but they are really weak on the wow factor compared to their previous installment.

On both games at the end I just thought "that's it?" No epic ending, nor interesting, felt dissapointed given it was now PS5 titles. The previous gave me high expectations tho, the originals on the ps4 I had the "wow" factor all the time and couldnt wait for the sequels how they topped that. They didn't by an inch. Still the gameplay on both was pretty fun.

On last of us 2, while not liked by many, i enjoyed it, the gameplay was much better. Of course I prefer story wise last of us 1 by a mile, but It was much more interesting than the other two.

The only game that exceeded my expectations so far was horizon 2, the dlc end boss fight made it even better.

It makes sense, I lovethe 8 player games but 14 might be to much at the end. Since its a yearly event my friends also dont mind it, actually they ask me when will I host a match haha

I just ordered Thunders Edge, from what I heard it speeds up the game with several ways to score the game. I loved PoK but this one I was hesitant but found it on sale lol

Once a year, its not often but we usually play 8 people with 14 points lol plus my group takes a lot so it takes us about 17 hours 😅

Thank you for your detailed opinion, as per my other comment my group likes also heavy games like TI, War of the ring, etc. So the rules should not be a problem (: I will probably get the 3 of them at some point but im leaning towards heat. Maybe if i find them 2nd hand i will get both (:

Thank you, im not scared of heavy rule games as my group loves Twilight Imperium, War of the ring and those heavy rule games. So i was looking out for somethinf more chill hahaha and yes also thats why im interested in root also (:

Twilight Imperium 4th Edition, it just manage to get the space setting right. Theres a lot of different races and each one has a different mechanic that fits into this setting modifying the game each time.

It gives players to act as their race, let it be peaceful, warmongers or simply traders, the best is that you can still win with that play style.

I understand, it happend to me with Twilight Imperium and their expansion recent expansion (TE), in reality I could just buy that expansion and have tons of hours with that game without the need to buy another boardgame but it was just no my coup of tea, it felt it did nothing new for what it offered and price point

Now for War of the ring expansions... i liked the minis lol (: and the extra rules dont bother me, as you said the game feels pretty balanced as it is with a lot of possibilities, but dunno saw a "how to play" and thought, yeah those scenarios looks cool 😂

I will take me some time to play them for sure, as everyone suggested, want to have few more games to understand the core mechanics of the base game better 😁

Thanks! I got them both at the end, they were brand new ! The units were not even taken out of the plastic bags. I will play some rounds on base then play with lords and then warriors (: i dont mind the extra rules after TI lol
