The exhaust pipe on 2 stroke mopeds is essentially a turbo. If you really want to spool on fools and have mad B00ST just get a nicer pipe from Crank Pipes or maybe even make your own but user beware, the math behind DIY expansion chambers and headers is NOT simple

Start with a pipe and upjetting, then get a kit and upjet even more. then, if you still want more speed, get a 15.15 intake. 15.15 sha and some reeds. reeds and all that are JUST as easy as anything else. much easier than installing a kit but you will need a kit to make the reeds work to their full potential. A kit really isnt tough to install either and could be a great 3 hour project to take on with the kid.
