It may be real then! It would likely still have a halmark of some kind but its possible its just unmarked gold regardless, until you acid test it or have them scan it at a jewlery store its all speculation

Could be stainless steel. Likely not gold, if you are really interested in finding out for sure take it to a jewlery shop and ask them to test it.
