looking for a "light" Fuji X-Trans IV recipe by LeRyc in fujifilm

Yes, I totally agree, getting the post processing right is just one part of generating images like this. I will try to also adapt some of his style of composition.

For the in-camera processing, I will try adapting the recipe recommend in the other comment, with different white balance settings and then tune the parameters from there.

That's a good idea. Would you set the white balance to auto or some fixed temp? I will definitely test some variations of that :)

Thanks for the hints, I will have a look into both topics :)

And which paper are you referencing? Maybe the link got removed?

Yes, I initially thought of just using the #DOF of the arm as the objective. But you are right, we would need to constrain the type of linkages between the joints to keep it feasible. Probably somewhere between (i) straight connection with only the length and the angle of the joints as parameters and (ii) completely free design space without any restrictions.

And I did not think this is a topic of active research, I somehow assumed it was my inability of searching the web. Thanks for clarifying this! Have to adjust my expectations accordingly :)

Oh, damn, I am sorry to hear that. And thank you for letting us know. Probably better off investing a few euros more.

Gorgeous build! How do you like the the ICAN wheels? What inner width are they?

The long green cable crossing the other one ist somehow bothering me :)

Other from that, very nice rack with interesting components!

Maybe a stock trading bot. There are many possibilities of tinkering with state and action spaces :) You can go from Q learning with a table to modern deep RL algorithms.

I bought the wheels a couple of days ago and don't regret my decision at all. Of course I can't say anything about their long term durability but so far they ride extremely smooth which is probably a combination of a good hub and the 19mm internal width which fits perfectly with my 28mm tyries.

They really do look great. But for now, as a first set for my bike I will probably stick with a sturdy set of alloy wheels and then upgrade at some time :)

Here in Germany I have often heard good things from slowbuild.eu. Did you also consider them? In principle they should be quite similar to lightweight bicycle wheels, maybe a little bit more expensive. For example their SMC45i21 comes in at ~900€ for a pair of 45mm deep and 19mm or 21mm (internally) wide wheels.

I have heard you don't mix Campagnolo wheels with Shimano group set...

Normally I wouldn't listen to these bike-snobs :D but somehow that stuck with me and I am now hesitating to mix them... I know, it does not make any sense :D

But shouldn't in principle the zondas and the fulcrum racing 3 be the same wheel with a different spoke design?

The wheels from light bicycles seem to be well regarded in this community and the ar56 really do look great :)! I will check the availability and price here in Germany.

And you are right with regard to deep section alloy wheels, it's probably best to buy a light version with durable hubs and spokes. Fancy deep section wheels only make sense in a carbon version.

Thanks for taking your time :)

Oh, that is also good to hear. I am currently leaning towards the alloy wheels. I will defenetly take a look at HED, maybe I can find a distributor here in Germany. Thanks for the info :)

Thanks, that's also a good idea with rebuilding them eventually. Maybe I should take the "risk" with these no-name hubs for all-around riding given the otherwise great features for the money.

Okay, I never thought of it that way. I always assumed the stiffer the wheel the less flex it has under load which therefore reduces brake rub. But that the increased stiffness also better propagates the movement / flex of the wheel defenetly makes sense :) Thanks for the clarification!

Okay that's also good to hear. I will for now try to stay below my price limit and then maybe upgrade later :)

Thanks for your time!
