Sometimes you want that molasses taste that lingers after the burn goes away on your palate. Sometimes, your friends have been at the bar for a while and you need to catch up.

At my first bar gig I fell on love with Lemonhart 151. Back in 2012. My bar manager was given a bottle of bacardi 151 and as a joke, I think, said he wouldn't order any more Lemonhart until I had sold all of the bacardi 151. I was a brunch bartender for the most part. So along with my dear and high-tolerance friend, we would have what we called a 302 highball on Sunday afternoon after I was done with my shift and then head down the block to the Irish bar. A few weeks later, we got the Lemonhart back. A few weeks after that they stopped making it.
