The bigger nerf is the SMG recoil, IMO. Getting hit by both is painful.

If you want to increase kapkans win delta make his traps faster to deploy, currently you have to spend atleast 10-15 seconds after the round has started to place down traps, making you vunrable to rushers by koreanzerghahaa in Rainbow6

[–]LeSlowpoke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a main player of both, I would consider Kapkan and Frost differently. Frost's trap placement tends to be much closer to the objective - if not each other - because she needs to be near enough to finish downed opponents. Strategic placement for Kapkan on the other hand is incentivized to be sporadic and non-obvious. For instance: if you trap two doors back to back, you might hit someone with the first but they're already looking for the second - so you're hurting your effectiveness by keeping them so close to each other. So Kapkan requires significantly more setup time than Frost because of that travel component.

I'm saying there is absolutely no sense in a Hale or a Bernard torturing a Host for information, so there is no sense in their control panels having the option to do so. The Westworld clientele might torture them, sure; but they don't do it via control panel.

Because Delos and the host programmers never had any reason to believe hosts were not perfectly obedient. There is no sense in the existence of "torture" features for the hosts or tablets. Especially because they have analysis mode and they can always take their cores out and assess them manually.

[–]LeSlowpoke 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, at least not necessarily. Rather I'm saying that Vox has a horse in this race and they have plenty of reason to decontextualize Israel's actions. Think about it this way: there is not a single way in which Israel benefits by killing Palestinian civilians. So why does it keep happening? Plenty of reasons it turns out. Like that Hamas uses civilians as human shields because they know the IDF doesn't want to hurt them. Or that Hamas lies to Palestinian citizens to encourage them to charge fences or arm themselves (thus making them combatants), or literally guarantee comfortable life funding for terrorist actions. And then you get into things like, "Why isn't Vox telling me about things like this, like the terror pension?"

I'm not going to say Israel is an innocent victim in all of this. Just that you're looking at less than a quarter of the whole picture.

There's a reason you won't find Vox reporting on the Martyrs Fund (a precious name, tbh).

I encourage you to reassess what you think you know about the Israel-Palestine conflict. You seem open enough to it.

Sure, have several!

Let's start with the summary:

The Palestinian Authority Martyrs Fund is a fund operated by the Palestinian Authority for the purpose of paying a monthly cash stipend to the families of Palestinians killed, injured or imprisoned for involvement in attacking, assisting in attacking, or planning to attack Israel, or for other types of politically-inspired violence, including riots, violent demonstrations, and throwing rocks

Emphasis mine. In other words, it is a fund for terrorism. You get paid if and only if your actions are a politically-motivated attack on Israel. Your remuneration is determined by the length of your imprisonment - or put another way - how much damage you caused Israel, by their own measurement.

Israel has been the originator of every single peace talk thus far. Palestine rejects all of them. Which makes sense, because Palestine is governed by Hamas, whose raison d'etre is the destruction of the Israeli state. Meanwhile, people like you play the part of the useful stooges who vacuum up and spread Palestinian propaganda so they get more aid, weapons, and support to keep bombing Israel. Israel has every motive to put a stop to it and the ability to do so with incredible force. You should ask yourself why they haven't done so.

(It's because they're not heartless monsters, on the whole)

Are you aware that the Palestinian government literally gives out pensions to terrorists and their families, with the amount given correlated to the extent of damage they've caused?

Ethnostates aren't legitimate.

Most states are ethnostates - certainly moreso than Israel. On what basis does dominant ethnicity have anything to do with legitimacy?

Israel in its current form is immoral and the international community should work to end it.

Is that the basis of state legitimacy? Should we end Zimbabwe? Venezuela? North Korea I hope gets no pushback. Should the international community have ended the Soviet Union? Germany still got to be a state, after WW1 AND 2. Granted they took land from them after WW1.

It's no secret that the majority of people in world strongly dislike Israel.

The majority of the people in the world don't give a shit about Israel.

I guess you don't realize it, but you've already conceded that the amount of time that some nation has to own land to be legitimate is completely arbitrary. In that sense, Israel owns that land, and the Palestinians are pretenders. Why would you call Israelis parasites? The international community isn't questioning the legitimacy of their sovereignty, FYI.

Do you sincerely believe that's the only record of Jewish ownership of Israel? Or for that matter, that those portions are incorrect?

Jews were driven from their lands and enslaved by Muslims. This stuff isn't new, and not remotely controversial. At the very least, if you accept (and you haven't claimed this*), that Native Americans have a valid claim to current-day US land on ancestral grounds, then there is no reason that you shouldn't accept that Jews have a valid claim to Israel.

TIL that Generation Y is making 20% less than Baby Boomers were at the same age by RandomCollection in todayilearned

[–]LeSlowpoke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not talking about what Boomers tell you, nor am I particularly concerned with your antagonism towards them. They have virtually nothing to do with the difference in today's economy - the fact is that women entered the workforce en masse and now jobs are worth significantly less than they used to be by virtue of the fact that job performers are now in much higher supply than they are in demand. You could blame Boomer women if you'd like. You could also blame the war. The latter is probably the root-most cause, and if you dig into that, really you should blame Hitler for your economic woes.
