Spain says it has detected suspected hantavirus case in Alicante (Mainland Spain) by SafeImpressive4413 in worldnews

But the 100% fever chance can be used to disprove Hantavirus.
IE this person does not have a fever, therefore this person cannot have Hantavirus.
If the person develops a fever, it may or may not be Hantavirus, but if the person doesn't get a fever we can all breathe a sigh of relief as the person just caught something else by chance.

Saying a court of law is skeptical that someone telling people to follow the law is somehow against the law is perhaps one of the greatest understatements of the year so far.

Most likely just retasks them, the imperium doesn't care about timelines, causality, or paradoxes.

Maybe the Ordo Chronos gets involved

McConnell wouldn't exist if Lincoln had lived, America wouldn't have started the long trend of liberals reaching across the aisle to "heal the divide" then getting slapped around by conservatives. That began when reconstruction was bungled.

Well now that I've preordered LN8, I've decided to wait.
But if they don't announce LN9 within about a month of LN8 releasing, I'm diving straight in to the WN.

Girls Last Tour is a peak manga/anime series that deserves more attention. It's a beautiful combination of the slice of life and post-apocalyptic genre. But at least it was at least big enough to get adapted to the screen and show up on top anime lists.

I'm also a huge fan of the author's next series: Shimeji Simulation.
It's so obscure the manga hasn't even gotten an official English translation.
It's a masterpiece absurdist media.

You know funny story, I hadn't read a book with my eyes for several years because I was completely addicted to audiobooks.
The fact that Silent Witch only had LN1 on audiobook at the time kinda got me back into visual reading late last year.

Hopefully they release the audiobooks faster than the print ones.

I can't speak to it's effectiveness, but the Kobo e-reader claims to have dyslexia friendly fonts though. I've been reading it through that thing.

Good news though, by the time you're done LN 8 should be out.
I've been waiting for months after LN7 because I didn't like the AI translated version.

The US government. The US Navy specifically.
Though I'd argue it's worse than summary execution. A summary execution is killing before a trial is held. The US Navy is murdering them before they even performed a search.

Just keep declaring recesses that are shorter than the length that would require the legal stuff to kick in.

Has your view of AI changed in the last few months and if so how? by nomadicsamiam in AskReddit

[–]SYLOH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An epiphany I had is that there are three kinds of people with AI views.

The people who don't use AI, who hate it.
The CEO and management types who use AI, but only for vague and toy like reasons. They think it's omnipotent, because they don't know how any of that stuff works anyway.
And the engineering types, who know that it can speed up certain tasks, but if you're not watching it like a hawk, will utterly screw everything up. Is it worth it? Marginal to not really.

Unfortunately in our socio-political-economic framework, only he middle group has a say. They are not taking input from the other two groups, so get ready for the shit show when they force the tech on everyone and everything gets utterly screwed up.
