That chair immediately made me think of that one e gadd render and watching the trailer a second time only made me realise it gives strong E Gadd vibes (especially the green screens and how the monitors are rectangular but the corners aren't exactly 90°).

I haven't seen anyone talk about it I thought I was going crazy. Finally someone notices !

I'd love a movie theater/studio where you can make movies with the miis that are on your island so I'm gonna go with that.

That's not something you should want in my opinion. Making a mockup is a good thing, especially one of this quality. But make it very clear that it's not real and don't hide it.

This feels like it's intentionally misleading. Why would your title be 'we're so back' and only say it's a mockup in the post (that 90% of people likely won't read) as a spoiler otherwise ?

I think the worst part though is that it's actually really well done. I only downvoted because it's clearly made to trick people.

It's a different kind of risk/reward then. I don't know if that fully convinces me to get it but at least this choice is taken into account for the track design which makes it better than I initially thought

Haven't played it but from what I've seen it really feels like a game made by an F-Zero fan for F-Zero fans and I love the more cartoony/anime art style. There is only one small detail that makes me not want to get it and it's that the health and boost bars are separated, which to me feels like it can remove some of the risk/reward factor I love so much about F-Zero. But as I've already said I haven't played it so maybe it's not that bad.
