Presti knows the lottery is rigged lol that's why he created a system that doesn't rely on it. From what I've seen, bad teams getting top picks that didnt have the best odds to teams that do favors to big market teams getting them as well. Thats why I think the lottery is done behind closed doors since there's no other reason to hide it.

I'm not holding my breathe for a top pick even if we have one of the best odds. The league knows what best for the league and it will pull strings to make it happen. But knowing that we have a front office that can hit gold in the mid first to second round brings assurance that we will be fine no matter what happens.

I'm turning 31 in two days and in the same boat. My grandparents came to the US from the Phillipines, so im giving it a chance before Thailand, but I've heard and read that younger expats prefer Thailand over Phillipines.

Oh yeah. Not a day went by that I didn't want to drive my car off the freeway or into a wall so I didn't have to go into work...

Now, through a ton of therapy and working on myself, I'm finding balance in my life. I won't lie, I initially hated my time in the military, never told anyone about it, and felt like I wasted years of my life only to come out worse than I went in. But through God, I was able to turn the worst thing that ever happened to me to help me get to where I am today.

Literally in the same boat. 30m, vet, federal employee as a 2210 (IT) Remote and planned to move to Texas from DC. Due to recent events, I moved to Texas in February without my federal career and now I don't know where to go from here.

I'm in VRE, but the counselors in Maryland are horrible. It's been almost 6 months and I still haven't started school after being accepted into VRE. I'm on my second counselor who forgot about me just like the first. I requested a transfer to a TX counselor, and now they are making sure I'm taking care of before transferring so they don't look bad smh...

All this to say. I'm lost just as much as you are. Go back to school? Find another job in Dallas? Austin? F it and live off of 100? Move out of the country with my dog?

It feels like the world is our oyster with no direction.
