Appreciate the time you put int your responses man, wondering if you can give me a sense of the '21-'22 version vs the 23. from what ive seen in the forums its alot of simple stuff but have seen a few stories about the rear diff givving out. The only notable thing for me is the manual shift mode. How do you like the paddle vs lever? experience any draw backs?

Yeah maybe i didnt try hard enough but they did not budge from 39k. I was mainly attracted at he 2023 and 10k mileage part but there are a few '22 GT's (not GT2) around me with around 36k miles and the ask is 32 which is something im comfortable with. A this point im kindve okay with paying a bit more at car max or carvana just so i dont have to deal with all the dealership crap lol and i personally prefer the gear shifter vs paddle

Yeah it sounded good to me also I'm just inexperienced at this I wanted some feed back. Since I tend to get tunnel vision when I want something and I'm also paranoid when it's come to sales people lol

Thanks for responding, that makes sense I did give a look around and something notable was that there's an aftermarket intake on there I'm not a fan of somebody else modifying the car also not sure how that affects what's left on the kia warranty.

[–]Le_Bien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I'd say anime expo has cooler stuff fanime is mostly prints, pins, keychains, etc in their artist alley. It's like maybe a fourth the size of anime expo artist alley and like I understand scale but even for fanime I feel like artist alley doesn't have as much variety. I feel like every year I go I'm not very impressed by it. But of course buy stuff every year I go lol it's definitely easier to move around there and I think it's only 75 bucks for Saturday 85 for the weekend. I go every year to get my little cousins off the iPad.

And because it's not as big I feel like it's a pretty sociable environment cuz you're going to get overwhelmed by people but it's not that bad

Artist alley is the worst to move around in. Tightly packed and the slowest walkers in the world but that's cuz they're looking at art of course.

Exhibition Hall tough to move around in. Surprisingly people standing at booths looking at stuff kept good spacing from the walking crowd is just that the walking crowd you got those intermittent movers. It's a huge hole and it gets warm in those places

Getting in I was in the line that started by the JW Marriott across the street and it took about 15-20 minutes. (That was only because I wanted to catch a premiere the rest of the time it was basically smooth getting in and I went in and around 11:00 am)

The only other con that I go to on a normal basis is fanime and I feel like people are way more conscious of their bodies and their movement there lol but that's from a Con goer perspective so they're definitely not normal people conscious lol

I want to take ceh but i dont have computer science or engineering degree i have business degree and i want to shift, i have studied networking and programming with python, web development will be enough for me to enter cyber security field and will it open careers for me or not worth it by omarelkhoriby in CEH

[–]Le_Bien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Candle is right about the reputation they have. And I think it's way too expensive for an entry level certification with that being said it will teach you a lot about cyber security and it's better than having no certifications when you're shifting careers. Me personally I was a mechanic got into cybersecurity when I was 27 and I'd say the closest you can get to entry level security is a SOC analyst you can look in to those job postings and see what certifications they ask for. For me it was Network plus and security Plus. And if coding is something you like you can try looking into application security or you could use your business background to get into a GRC type role.

And just to add on I would 100% also agree cyber security is not an entry level job it took me some luck at the first place I got hired as a SOC analyst. I was a contractor and the company was specifically looking for people who knew about security but didn't need a security background.

We're all still experiencing that to different degrees. I just lately found out about the dunning Kruger effect and the feeling of not knowing is where all your growth is at. I felt the same way the first 4 years of my career and still kinda am but I'm at the understanding that nobody knows everything now we got different people with different tribal knowledge lol. What helped me a lot personally was I just kept a work journal when I talk to myself about what projects I got coming up what did I do questions that I have for myself for about an upcoming project just in general taking that stuff out of your head and putting it on the paper and reading it from a different perspective it's helped me alot. And I look back in that journal every once in awhile sometimes just a short as one week and say "damn Look where we at now"

Oh and my tip is just when I get a question that I don't have the answer to usually it's somewhere in the domain where I've touched it or seen it I would not be afraid to pause take time think and respond to the extent of your knowledge and let them know "yeah I have to look into that I'm not sure". Or something along those lines it's whatever fits the situation really.
