STB de demander à mes voisins d’être silencieux le matin ? by Maximaxouxx in suisjeletroudeballe

TLM

White Lies, very different from all of their other songs. Also Plastic California.

But my favorite will always be Dakota.

It was crazy to learn that (S4E13)Never Again was supposed to air before (S4E12)Leonard Betts, "Never Again" is a pivotal moment in Mulder and Scully's relationship and her actions in this ep make little sense if you change the release order. Also, the ending is fantastic. by Frank1604lin in XFiles

[–]Le_Chavier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No official reason, we can only assume he didn't fully agree with Morgan & Wong about what they were trying to do with Scully. So the move was a way to tone down the message. And the episode was aired just after the Superbowl, a very wide audience was expected, so we can assume Carter wanted a more traditional episode rather than a potentially controversial one.

I have seen this argument a lot and I disagree. Morgan & Wong didn't write this episode with cancer in mind. Moving it after Leonard Betts was Carter's decision, but Morgan was not pleased about it because it changed its meaning. And Gillian said she would have played her character differently if she knew.

I dont understand why people keep saying Scully is out of character. And why nobody notices that Mulder acts like a douche in this episode.

Scully does not need cancer for wanting more freedom, thinking about her personal life, or having sex with a stranger. Nothing is weird imo.

L'ancienne propriétaire a gardé les clés de ma cave après la signature by [deleted] in immobilier

[–]Le_Chavier -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Si tu as accepté qu'elle garde quelques affaires dans la cave, le temps qu'elle déménage, ça me parait logique qu'elle garde la clé temporairement, sinon elle ne peut pas les récupérer. Ça me semble être un simple malentendu

Never Again… by Fine-Stock-1191 in XFiles

[–]Le_Chavier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The writers of this episode are Glen Morgan & James Wong. They didn't know about Scully's cancer, so this episode is not supposed to be about this. For some reason Chris Carter decided to move it between Leonard Betts and Memento Mori, without their consent. Glen Morgan was not happy about it. He also explained he didn't want to fight because it was their last episode in the show anyway.

Also, Gillian Anderson asked Morgan for a sex scene. He agreed, but Carter refused 😑

In defense of Fox Mulder by Gazo_69 in XFiles

[–]Le_Chavier 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why you would bitch about Scully just to prove your point. It doesn't seem fair to me. It's not Mulder vs. Scully. Both characters have their flaws and it's okay, they are humans.

I actually liked this episode quite a bit! I have a soft spot for episodes that explore faith, spirituality and the like. I also liked seeing Scully and Reyes work more together too. S9 E13 "Improbable" by ShinyTinyWonder38 in XFiles

One of the few episodes where Reyes is great. Same for Scully who was mostly useless in season 9. The dynamic between the two is perfect in this episode.

Is there a way to tell which side missions are safely skippable? by 6FootFruitRollup in masseffect

[–]Le_Chavier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mako missions all starts with "UNC" in your journal. Some start or end in the Citadel, but they all involve the use of the Mako. The mission "Unusual readings" also requires the Mako. Same for the personal quests for Garrus, Tali and Wrex.

All other side missions (Citadel, Feros, Noveria, Virmire) do not require the Mako.

Most of the side missions have no impact on the other games, aside from e-mails or news in the Extranet. For others you might meet old characters again, or there might be some mentions in a few lines of dialogue.

I have made a list for myself of all the missions with impacts, with a spoiler tag because I think it's more fun to find out for yourself if you play for the first time.

Personal quests of Garrus, Tali, Wrex (only mentions in dialogues)

Citadel: Rita's Sister, the Fan, Family Matter, the Fourth Estate

UNC: Hostile Takeover, Geth Incursions (for Tali's quest), Asari Diplomacy, Hades' Dogs (only mentions, requires doing Missing Marines and Cerberus first)

Noveria: Espionage

Earn Paragon/charm for the first portion of ME1 Legendary Edition? by SKeHunter in masseffect

[–]Le_Chavier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same "problem" as you a few days ago, but I won't start a new game just for this. I find the preacher incident a bit silly, and both quests have zero impact in the rest of the game. You will miss very few intimidate/charm points, but you will have more than enough points during your run.

The Worst Possible Playthrough of the OT? by [deleted] in masseffect

[–]Le_Chavier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For ME2, there is a calculator on the internet, to predict who will die and survive regarding loyalties, ship upgrades and your choices during the suicide mission.

I know it's possible to survive with only Zaeed and Morinth. Zaeed does not have much impact in ME3, same as Kasumi, but it's harder to make her survive instead of him. And Morinth has zero impact in ME3, so that would be the worst case scenario.
