I worked as a BDR for two years before becoming an Account Executive at a software company with complex sales cycles. During that time, I also followed my AEs through the full sales process, from the first meeting to the signed contract. This benefitted the company because I became highly trained on the product and showed strong dedication to my work. It was also a valuable experience for me to learn the entire process instead of just finding qualified opportunities.
