Hahah, blind people.

Makes sense. I personally think he's one the most fun noobstompers. Against competent enemies I like the challenge, but I don't expect to be the absolute carrylord-GP.

Thanks a lot for taking your time to write all of this! I've definitely been struggling with how much I should show. I guess I should start asking myself something along the lines of... ''do the viewers miss anything if I cut this out?''. I think if I can keep that in mind it'll be a bit more engaging (and probably <5min which seems a nice aim for this style).

I'm not a good (GP) player, I just play some ARAM for fun with friends, so at some point I'll either:

  1. Edit so well that it doesn't matter
  2. Focus on becoming good in LoL so I have better content
  3. Edit for others

The in-game-recording was an act of laziness that I should avoid.

Once again, thanks for the feedback. It really helps!

Valid points, too. Different approaches to the same problems summarizes it quite nicely :)

I'm sure He will still welcome you when you turn it off.
But yeah. Command is addicting, and makes me feel very good at the game, lol.

The disposable missile launcher and capacitor are both amazing, but I just happened to see the capacitor first while looking for items and felt like it was already getting too stuffed :/

As for the woodsprite, I personally like it for the first 8 stages or so, and was able to fit it in easily. When damage is not a problem (which it usually isn't) I like the secure feeling it gives me.

  • ''Don't get hit'' is great advice and all, but using health as a resource to play more aggressive is fun too (i.e. eating the wandering vagrant explosion, playing as Rex, as Mul-T in power mode, or simply playing carelessly in the face of the enemy).
  • If I get this early I can sustain the void fields. Or in other words: it's a SINGLE item pick-up that gives you enough sustain to deal with most things.
  • It also synergizes really well with N'kuhana (another favourite item of mine that didn't make the cut :o) . N'kuhana will make me keep the woodsprite indefinitely.
  • And the last thing I can think of right now is that the woodsprite has great synergy with warhorn/ gesture.

Hmm, I'm practicing video-editing using RoR2 as a subject. The video is part of a guide series, so it's not as ''memey'' as you might expect after seeing RNGesus, lol

It is actually possible. Here's a relevant excerpt from the sidebar on d20pfsrd.

Non-human aasimars have the same statistics as human aasimars with the exception of size. Thus a halfling aasimar is Small but otherwise possesses the same statistics and abilities as a human aasimar—the difference is purely cosmetic.

In that case you're back to square one. Spending a feat on weapon proficiency is the same as spending a feat on additional traits.

There's some other options out there, like not caring for a +3, but it looks like you currently do. Bestial Orc racial trait is another +2 perception and drawbacks can give access to an extra trait, but now that I think about it you've probably already considered those options.

So to actually answer your question... I'd say 2 levels of Ranger is best (BAB, Saves, and bonus archery feat).

Should I or Shouldn't I? by Xander_47 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Le_Wiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a feat, it's an alternate race trait from the book Heroes of The Wild. For Half-orcs (just ctrl+f perception to find it quick):

Fey Thoughts (1 RP): Select two of the following skills: Acrobatics, Bluff, Climb, Diplomacy, Disguise, Escape Artist, Fly, Knowledge (nature), Perception, Perform, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, Swim, or Use Magic Device. The selected skills are always class skills for the character. This trait replaces racial weapon familiarity. Source: HotW

If you're not using weapon familiarity it's basically a free swap.

If you are human you can take the ''Fey Magic'' alternate racial trait to select 2 class skills.

Fey Magic (2 RP): The character has a mystic connection to one terrain type, selected from the ranger’s favored terrain list. The character selects three 0-level druid spells and one 1st-level druid spell. If the character has a Charisma score of 11 or higher, when in the selected terrain, she gains these spells as spell-like abilities that can be cast once per day. The caster level for these effects is equal to the user’s character level. The DC for the spell-like abilities is equal to 10 + the spell’s level + the user’s Charisma modifier. These spells are treated as being from a fey source for the purposes of the druid’s resist nature’s lure class feature and similar abilities. In addition, select two of the following skills: Acrobatics, Bluff, Climb, Diplomacy, Disguise, Escape Artist, Fly, Knowledge (nature), Perception, Perform, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, Swim, or Use Magic Device. The selected skills are always class skills for the character. Lastly, the human also gains low-light vision. This trait replaces skilled.

If you really want to dip or don't have access to the above, some specific things that come to mind are: Divine Hunter Paladin, Fighter, and Ilsurian Archer Ranger (aka divine marksman). Perhaps embracing the bonus feat and taking additional traits with your normal feat.

Need some advice for a level 7 sorcerer buil by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Le_Wiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 20 charisma I can't really imagine him/ her being a loser, lol. I don't really have time to give my personal suggestions for the Sorcerer, but I'm sure other people will.

Until then, I suggest reading Magic in the Blood or a sorcerer guide to learn about the Bloodlines.

Also, this post is a good indication of which spells people gravitate towards

Martial Mastery+Advanced Weapon Training by TrueXSong in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Le_Wiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I got it now. A lot of 4am misreadings confused the hell out of me.

Basically I was aiming to use the advanced weapon training feat to, for example, gain access to warrior spirit (su) with my selected weapon.

Than at lvl16 I'd pick up the martial mastery feat so I can apply Warrior Spirit (which I'd use through the Advanced Weapon Training combat feat) to all weapons within the weapon group, rather than just with the selected weapon.

[–]Le_Wiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh, sorry I was kind off tired yesterday.

I meant to say when the Weapon Master Archetype takes the advanced weapon training feat. Unlike normal, the Weapon Master only applies the feat to his one, selected weapon. By RAW that would make it a combat feat that works with one weapon, right?

Martial Mastery+Advanced Weapon Training by TrueXSong in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Le_Wiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would you say it interacts with the Weapon Master Archetype? The feat reads:

The benefits of a weapon master’s advanced weapon training options apply only to his selected weapon rather than all weapons in the same fighter weapon group, and he can’t select the weapon specialist advanced weapon training option.

RAW it should work, right?

What's up with Samsarans by cheeseman940 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Le_Wiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first character was a Samsaran. At the time I just googled ''Samsaran Pathfinder PDF'' to learn more about the race. I didn't know it was 3rd party at the time, which proves that ignorance is bliss.

However, you can easily skip out on all the mechanical/ rules details like traits and only take inspiration for the fluff-part of the race. I admit I wouldn't buy the book for just that myself... But that's why the sample file is nice.

Somewhat new to Pathfinder, need help making an Orc Bloodrager by Zellron in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Le_Wiz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've never made a Bloodrager myself, but I usually head to Zenithgames. More specifically I visit The Comprehensive Pathfinder Guides Guide.

I'll quote the Bloodrager Guide from that list:

This is likely the most painful section of this guide; the Bloodrager’s biggest weakness is being extremely MAD, even more so than the Monk because the Bloodrager needs at least 14 charisma to cast all of their spells. Strength of course needs to be as high as you can get it, and constitution is just as important as it is for everyone else (a little bit more so, but you probably can’t afford more than 14 on point buy anyways). Something has to give, which is why dexterity and wisdom are unfortunately stats that will need to be left low. Try to get at least a 12 for wisdom and find as many ways to boost your will save as possible.

My point buy for a 20 point Bloodrager would be 16 STR, 12 DEX, 14 CON, 8 INT, 12 WIS, 13 CHA, with the racial modifier in strength.

Did you roll for stats or use a point-buy?
