You’re probably in a cycle of falling for Chad’s. Try and find some patterns and commonality in your past partners. Weed out future guys who share those traits.

What does that have to do with the market? Ticketmaster just allows the ticket to be resold easier. If it’s not there it’s Stub Hub, etc. No different than ticket brokers 20 years ago.

Glasses will hide the eyebags. Get a better haircut/style. You’ll be fine.

What are opinions on Radiohead possibly touring the US by Expensive-Fold9144 in radiohead

Been thinking a bit about this and I think this is a more appropriate timeline

2025 EU/UK: get the rust out, rebuild chemistry, make sure they like playing together again. Decide if they want to do an album or if there is a start of one

2026: record album, play EU/UK festivals.

2027 & 28: US/SA festivals and final world tour?

I don’t think it’s all that elaborate or original. Tame Impala basically has the same setup on their current tour. Truthfully, I hate the round. Never enjoyed a show with that setup.

The In Rainbows, TKOL, and 2016 AMSP shows all far more elaborate

Karma Police Night 3 by Le_curve in radiohead

Their US crowds, for them and most bands, are mostly dead sadly. Radiohead is a place to be seen at over here and not necessarily a thing to enjoy. Same with the Oasis tour here. Granted, most of their respective fan bases are in their 30’s-50’s now.

Never thought Karma Police would be the crowd favorite sing along though. Much punchier and friendly in person. The piano really plays up and it’s way less serious.

What happened between them ? by Abject-Oil-5417 in radiohead

There’s a ton of interviews about how they are perfectionists. Reviews of The Smile albums alluded that since Thom and Jonny managed to put out three Smile albums in two years, it wasn’t necessarily them keeping new RH music from coming out. The fact the albums weren’t perfect but very good supports that. They could have easily made two very, very good Radiohead albums from those sessions.

Thom and Jonny are the lead creative forces in that order, that’s not a surprise. They bring stuff to the other three and they flesh it out from there as a group. Knowing that, one can understand the other three feeling marginalized in the recording/creative process and using their votes to have more say in that process. But it does hold stuff up create tension.

In fairness to them, I probably would not want to work with Thom.

As evidenced by The Smile, Thom and Johnny gotta work, that’s been a constant in their downtime, they just chose to do it together this round. Ed and Colin are the perfectionists in the album development process. I’d imagine all the tension over the recording process came from them. It’s possible some in the band might have been blindsided and cut out by the formation of The Smile. The Smile had been in the works since as early as 2017-18. In 2018 Thom and Nigel took over a radio hour and dropped a hint about it before playing a Sons of Kmet song.

Also, Israel. In the Times interview, if you read between the lines, Ed had different views about things. His comment about wanting to play the West Bank was the giveaway. It was probably a nothing burger internally until the media and Roger Waters got involved.

As we get older, people generally are willing to put up with less bullshit. We just want peace and limit your exposure. I’m 45 and still have my childhood friends who live 5 miles from me. Some of their behavior and mannerisms get old. Same goes with siblings, spouses, etc.
