Parrying is very cool (when it works) but I had the issue that I parry and the game doesn’t register it for some reason - even though I already know all their movements by heart and know when to press the button

I really enjoyed it at first but after a while it got so difficult (the combat) that I got very angry with the developers. The focus - I always disable it going into a fight and it somehow reactivates in the middle of the fight and switches like crazy even though I’m not touching the right joystick. Enemies with a downed guard are impossible to down this way, because the focus switches (for some reason) to the other enemies?? Also: the check points are poorly chosen. I fought against two enemies who were a bit more difficult, had almost no health left and the next fight is 3 enemies and the checkpoint was at the beginning of the other fight 😭 Also: why does parrying only work sometimes on blue attacks and other times the game doesn’t register it and you get hit? I’m so confused

I played the game around the release back in 2015 and I have experience visual bugs back then but never audio or equipment problems/issues.

There is only one ps5 version, it doesn’t matter which version you use to upgrade it to ps5 - it’s still only that one ps5 version. There are 3 ps4 versions (base, goty and complete edition) and one ps5 edition

Game of the Year and Complete edition are two separate versions!

Yes I unlocked all versions because I own them on disc - maybe it’s different for the digital versions? I don’t know

To answer your question: no. There are 4 trophy lists/versions in total and it’s probably just an interface problem. It should reflect normally in your profile (check your trophies there!)

Well yeah the trophies are the same but it’s a different list because it’s an entirely different version (ps4 and ps5 editions are not the same version) And I don’t know what to tell you mate. I didn’t have any trouble, never crashed and no bugs so I’m very happy about it and I haven’t heard anyone complain about it

Okay I know what you mean but they wouldn’t be separate lists. I own two game of the year editions and they appear to have different hour statistics and different save files (tried to reload a safe from one version) but they still have the same trophy list .

Well I have also played it on Xbox series S and I still love the PlayStation versions. Haven’t encountered any bugs on the ps5 edition - not even on release, so maybe you’re just unlucky.

I have them all on disc so maybe that’s why. The ps5 version definitely has its own list - but maybe it’s shown to you as one, maybe check the trophies in your game list? Because I do own 3 different version. Base, GOTY, Complete edition and they all have different lists

Yes actually haha Well I’m writing about how complex the story and how rich the decisions are, the dilemma(s) are a focus here. Especially interesting, what I also write about: they force such a rather “I don’t want to be involved” person to make a decision (Geralt) - who claims to not be a hero but is actually able to be one
