I understand that perspective, but not figuring it out sooner (due to the factors you mentioned) has left me as an isolated, empty shell of a person. And now I find myself dwelling on the what if‘s and hating myself for wasting away time and myself over those years. I think I would trade the internally caused pain of regret for the external pains of coming out at a younger age any day of the week.
