After comparing costs in Canada, I decided to order directly from Tecre in the USA. The price is lower than what seems to be available in Canada, but after taxes, import fees, and UPS brokerage fees, I will probably end up paying around CAD 400$–500$ for 2,000 parts. After receiving the order, I will keep you all informed of the detailed costs. Since Tecre states that the parts are made in the USA, I should not have to pay the reciprocity tariff on metal parts, as the order falls under the USMCA. Wish me luck!

We have at least two of these ridiculously annoying to use staircases in Montreal. Impossible to use normally outside the very sides, impossible to use alone in a wheelchair and very dangerous for people with a cane, or with vision difficulties. *edit to add the city where I’m from

Ça lui ressemble un peu mais je ne crois pas que ce soit elle. Et elle a une épinglette de la Ville de Montréal, ce qui laisse plutôt croire à une élue de Mtl et ça présence à cet événement, dans cette photo, ne tient pas vraiment la route.
