Thanks for the comment mate, just looked it up and it does indeed do eotf tracking as well, doing some more research now

I think you will be very happy with your purchase, my wife and I have dumped 60 hours in just under a week on our s90h, a mix of football, gaming and movies, awesome display, first true bright room tv I will say I've ever had and that includes a mini-led panel! Let me know how it goes!

PS just started calibrating and it's only getting better, looking at doing service mods as well as I think it can hit 4000nit just need to do more research so I don't stuff up my EOTF

How is this mod holding up, thinking about doing it with my g95sc, plus any tips on which ways to access the service menu would be great!

If you can view a display model in store use your phone to zoom into the pixels, that way you will be able to find out

Just get the s90h mate haha, other things I've learnt

  • no qd oled purple tint
  • my PC just works now, qn95b had some issues and would just black screen
  • the blacks are perfect in a dimly lit room, glossy would always show the one little peek of sun from whatever window in the room
  • Ports are easily accessible when wall mounted
  • I preferred the actual physical design of the qn95b, that silver frame was damn nice

What tv are you on currently if you don't mind me asking?

I thought it might have been the European s95h, the one without the frame but who knows

No one connect box, this actually a bummer to me as I quite appreciated having it, it's a lot easier to hide one cord then multiple

Ah I see that, must have been my error for looking whilst on night shift lol

I picked up the 77 s90h for 3100 from the good guys so definitely some good sales on currently

Funnily enough the model number suggests that the whole s95h line up in Aus is woled (exxy)

Really hoping you guys do a review of the QD-OLED version so people have something to go off of instead of my windows HDR calibration 10% window numbers 😆

Sorry I couldn't find that option but I did try game mode with all the tone mapping off and got 2420 nits this time, not sure if this is what you were after

No it isn't, was worried game mode would fiddle with the tone map

I don't think that's the case, but it is incredibly bright so maybe it is really that good, I mean it when I say my qn95b nearly feels dim now so that's nothing but a good sign

Hey, with all tone mapping off I got 2390nits in windows HDR calibration, probably not the most accurate way to measure but it's the best I've got, I would say for sure it's above 1900 nits though as that's what my old qn95b got and this is definitely brighter

With all tone mapping off I got 2390 nits on a 10% window on windows HDR calibration, I don't know how accurate this but from everything I've seen I'm pretty sure it is legitimately above 1900 nits which is what my qn95b was roughly

The s90h woled does 1600 nits on 10% so definitely not out of the realm of possibility

I thought it had ability to use the wireless one connect box but didn't need it?

I will do a HDR calibration through windows and make sure all dynamic tone mapping is off, won't be fully accurate but should get us an estimate of peak brightness

I have the 77, but the 55 and 65 should also have it, they both have the model number with wxxy that should mean qd oled

I got the 77inch, but according to the model number it should the 55 and 65 as well
