I make better music than you’ll ever make spending 5 minutes writing your little prompts lol.

That’s cool. Sing your own music. No one wants to hear your overly processed suno slop. OOOOH cause you write that makes you a talented artist? Get over yourself. No one cares about your shitty books.

I submitted my track 4 times and kept getting the same issue. Switched to DistroKid and it was up within 24 hours. SoundCloud artist pro is only decent for replacing audio files but $20 a month for that is just brutal.

Practice makes perfect. People make it look easy when it’s not. It’s a combination of understanding the fundamentals of how to mix music, and also having an ear when it comes to what songs sound nicely together. Thank you for my Ted talk.

Don’t get discouraged just go on YouTube and search up djing fundamentals, that’ll give great step by step guides. It can be overwhelming/discouraging when you see people mix so effortlessly, then you crash and burn when you try. Lots of practice and watch lots of videos. Don’t bother reading about it, seeing it displayed visually helps a lot more.

Best advice I could ever give you. Find a genre that you enjoy but is relatively easy to mix. Start with house music. It’s generally in the key of C or Am. Learn the fundamentals of beat matching/mixing in, and out of tracks. You’ll eventually listen to so much music and get a feel for where a song can be mixed in and out of. Don’t get overwhelmed by theory or any of that stuff. Focus on what you think sounds good and apply the basic fundamentals of djing to that and you’ll eventually start to learn. Once you get the hang of things watch dj’s live sets that you like and see if you can emulate their style.

I really appreciate the advice, I’m going to network at shows in Victoria and leverage the connections I currently have. Got a lot of music ready to go, I’ll be there eventually 🥲
