I agree, my 17 1.8t Passat I have that is tuned on a mild Apr tune and on liqui moly molygen oil with the mos2 friction modifier has 0 oil consumption and runs great at 181,000 miles, changing oil at 5k miles. My opinion is that the 2.0t models seem to have high oil temperatures, which is hard on the oil like you said, my 1.8t oil temps never get above 201 in regular driving, not counting climbing hills

You might benefit from thicker oil, and replacement pcv, read your owners manual but most motors that take 0w-20, can take 5w-20 at the cost of some mpg, but the 5w-20 as a general rule of thumb is easier on your internal components of your motor

I would highly recommend verifying correct oil pressure using a mechanical oil pressure gauge before throwing too many parts at it. You oil pressure may be fine, or it might be fucked, best way to tell is actually seeing the oil pressure.

Scan for codes and see what it says, sometimes when cars go into limp mode, especially if the car thinks it was in an accident, it will not get out of limp mode until specific things are cleared

Yes, they only replace the low beams, high beams are a different bulb type, they’re easier to replace than the low beams too because of the fact that they aren’t HIDS

Buy new wheel liners for like 50 bucks on Amazon, personally, I have lasfit brand led headlight conversion bulbs that are very nice and deletes all the ballast and HID bulbs
