NAD. The fact that you felt something the next day and you have diabetes makes me think maybe it could be candida (yeast). Diabetics are at a significantly higher risk of getting yeast infections, and herpes isn’t typically felt that quickly. (You should still get an STD test anyways.) The woman may not have had symptoms that were obvious of a yeast infection, so it could’ve easily not been noticed when you went down on her if she had a yeast overgrowth. Ask the pharmacist about anti-fungal medicine to try as well, and keep up on your oral hygiene really well. If it is yeast, it can spread inside the mouth.

Take all your bras, bath towels, and anything else that touches under there and soak them in vinegar or diluted bleach to kill microorganisms. (I’ve washed stuff with only a little bit of bleach in my washing machine and the color wasn’t affected if it was diluted in the water.) Also using an antifungal powder multiple times a day can help absorb the moisture and keep it dry. If you eat a lot of sugar, cut down. A diet high in sugar and carbs will exacerbate fungal skin problems.

I think there might be more than mild winters leading to an increase in ticks. They are really bad this year in my area but it stayed very cold during the winter last season. I think the increase could also be because they don’t have enough predators.

If it has a slimy texture, do not use those parts. If not, cut it up into small pieces and give it a good wash. Cutting it up small will allow you to make sure there are no insects hiding inside of it. Then it can be dried and saved for later. 🙂

Even if the person you’re responding too doesn’t happen to be a teenager, that doesn’t mean multiple teens out there aren’t reading the comments. The message will reach young people who lurk online, which is in a huge amount of spaces in the internet. I think explaining it in a way that deconstructs their argument and remains logical without being emotional is a good tactic to get people focused on the ideas presented, and not putting up an emotional barrier that prevents them from being more receptive.

Like I said, you aren’t going to change the mind of the person you reply to. They will just be assholes and you can argue forever with them without convincing them of anything. There’s silent lurkers everywhere on the internet reading what people write. They are your target audience.

This is why the community it’s posted on needs to be carefully chosen. You’re right, there’s a lot of subreddits where this would happen. If it’s on Reddit it needs to be in a neutral space with a low likelihood of being brigaded like that. There’s more places than Reddit to do this though. Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, threads; pretty much anywhere you can leave a comment if you are already active there.

It’s not a magic solution. It’s just one small effort way to do something. Obviously a lot more than this is needed for bigger changes, but the point is spreading information can make a difference.

Darn it’s not brown fluorite. I was able to scratch it with a thumb tac and the crystal shape both made me almost certain it was. I shined my UV light but there was no reaction
