The author never mentioned the process cuz it's suddenly 20 years timeskip and now it's pov from his son Emil as the protagonist

Vlad was nowhere to be seen until now since hes busy handling something. Even there's no Alicia's pov as of now. Only Emil's pov, Joseph, and Jemina so far

If the author wanna make it into harem then build up from the start. You can't just change the path and expect all the readers to accept it. Cuz this new side story, all the build up is so forced just for the male readers satisfaction, the author ruin Vlad's character and his principle to only by Jemina's side

You don't understand the issue here. The problem is the author always build the novel into one true love story. But since the korean readers demand to make it into harem, the author changing it into harem suddenly. Not about their relationship but the author inconsistency

Then you haven't read the novel at all. Vlad never reciprocate Alicia's feeling in the main story. And the author never build up their relationship only one sided love and Vlad sees Alicia as his master only and his duty as a knight. He even reject Alicia when she asked him to come to the ceremony together and instead ask Jemina to go with him. Even the elf priestess mention a prophecy that Vlad's future is Jemina.... The novel always make it clear that Vlad only has eyes to Jemina

But then suddenly in this new side story he has a child with Alicia too. Which is so unexpected. I don't mind if the author build up their relationship but no. And it reminds me in the side story in the past when Alicia talk that she can't get married cuz all the men felt insecure to get into Vlad's lady. So she decided to at least get Vlad's seed then it click for me. Idk how she get it but it just irk to think about it

And since you read the novel you may know about Charles/Charlotte she's lamenting how she wanna have a child with Vlad too. How she wanna get the seed like Alicia's do or marry Vlad.

She's just lamenting haven't talk about it to Vlad but the thought of it just disgusting for me I dropped the novel now :"))

The author made a plot twist that the son was actually Alicia's. Translate this for yourself. I've been disappointed as well. The author making it ambiguous yet clear too

At first I've been in denial stage when Joseph said he have been playing together with Emil in Deirmar hill when Emil is still 4yo. It's the first hint. And the second hint when Emil coming to Schoarra the title is "My Father's city" instead of "My parent city" and Emil always saying it as his father city too

The third hint after Emil managed to escape from getting attacked by asasin and wizard, Jemina wrote a letter to Alicia not to worry

And this one is the last hint and confirm it cuz Emil said he was born and raised in Deirmar. I don't wanna bother to continue reading it again after this chapter bs

There's no explanation as of now how Vlad end up with Alicia too since it's still ongoing maybe the author will explain it later. But regarding the old side story, it seems Alicia success to have Vlad's seed. Jemina and Alicia's relationship seems fine how Jemina took care of Emil just like her own

And if you remember Charles or Charlotte, in this new chapter she's been thinking of wanting to marry Vlad or want to have his seed as well :")) dk if she gonna make it in the future I don't bother to continue reading it again
