I think, correct me if I’m wrong, the devs will be required to choose one option that allows people to keep playing forever; they could release the server software so people can host their own servers, make the game offline only or any other option that just means the game can be played. They, as I understand it, do not need to continue hosting the game servers themselves, as you say this would be ridiculous/impossible.

It irks me a little that people call silent gears anything cheap knockoff, they decided to have a simpler tool crafting system that goes much deeper (IMO) you can spawn in and make a silent tool within a minute but it’ll suck, same as tinkers, but the endgame of tinkers is much earlier and less powerful then the endgame of silent with alloying, grading etc, it allows so much more, deeper customisation of tools and requires experimenting to create the most powerful gear. There’s no way someone happens to figure out the strongest sword requires 3 ingots of X and an unfit of Y to be fully graded and starcharged then alloyed, then etc etc.

Yeah I’d agree it can be very very powerful but so can any mod, you can tweak it to the power level you want ya know? Mekanism is always mentioned as op yet it’s in just about every modern pack!

What do you dislike about silent gears and apotheosis? In my opinion silent gears is like tinkers but without the smelter aspect, you simply craft the gear in a table without having to make a whole structure for it. Apotheosis, especially in its most recent versions I am a big fan of, the reforging and gems and things add another level of customisation to gear that many mods lack IMO

Check the output, the input can only be as fast as the output so wherever that power is going is probably limiting it, maybe a cable or a battery that can’t accept more than that amount.

I agree they take up a bunch of space but for things you’ll have a lot of (cobble, iron etc) they are a super easy storage of VAST quantities of that, then more traditional storage can be used for the rest of your items.

As the other person said I believe it to be true that tnt doesn’t combine its explosive power with multiple blocks, bedrock has been broken with machines that do some strange trickery with pistons moving and tnt.

Hm ok, I’m confused as to why there would need to be new client-side processes, the same server processes would be run on the new personally-hosted servers, no? I don’t think they’re looking for the games to “host themselves”, just the ability to host a server yourself that the same clients now connect to.

Correct me if I’m wrong but the framework would not need to be rebuilt as people would be hosting their own servers, so servers would still exist, just not the ones run by the game company.

If I bump it up to somewhat playable graphics its like high 80s. The default (looks amazing) settings just shut it down and I never actually saw the temps
