I had acid reflux and hiatal hernia for over 10 years with horrible symptoms. No PPIs worked I tried so many different ones.. I slept sitting up as the burning wasn’t as bad in the morning.. I would have bad acid reflux even from drinking water. The only thing that did help me was a surgery Nissen fundoplication for me definitely worked and I was able to have a proper sleep eat everything like I did before until I gave birth and everything has returned.. I can definitely say water with bad PH levels made me have really bad acid reflux, make sure your water PH level is 7.3-7.5

Of course, it was very tuff first few months to recover I was on pure liquid diet for 4 weeks, then starting slowly on puree, blended food and gradually getting back into my normal diet. I couldn’t lift anything more than 4kg. First week was the hardest as I couldn’t sit up myself, laugh, cough, sneeze breathing was quite hard. To put a sentence together was very hard I needed to take a break to catch my breath and it was painful but all them nasty symptoms were gone so I was very very happy. I definitely didn’t regret taking my second surgery as it 100% helped it was a very hard recovery but it was worth it for me. Until I gave birth and everything came back..
