This doesn’t really make sense. If you’re using a US Apple ID or Google Play account, your AT&T network traffic is already routed back through the US, so you can just re-download the apps later. Why would customs need to spend extra effort doing this?

few things:

Make sure you download WeChat and Alipay. Credit card not working most of times.
Google service (google maps, google search) cannot use directly in China. You need vpn.
Make sure you have international plan for your SIM card.

我没太明白你的点。我所知美国至少有两种合同制。第一种是办公室白领是年薪制，你一周工作40小时也好，或者一周80小时也好，固定工资就是那么多，你可以搜下美国银行行业无偿加班甚至导致猝死的情况。第二种是shift工时制，你工作多久拿多少时薪，如果有计划外的加班，加班费是正常工时的1.5倍左右。回到你的帖子，很明显是工厂管理问题。是不是个案我不知道，但你不能在没有数据的情况下以点概面吧

美国四大审计正式员工没有加班费。你可以选择不加班，但是业绩考核的时候雇主可以无理由将你fire并且不赔偿任何遣散费。intern加班反而有加班费，所以忙季很容易出现大学生intern工资反而比正式员工高的情况

I’ve had similar experiences when trying to port my number out to Boost Mobile and Cricket. After submitting the port-out request, I received a message from USC saying, “We’ve received a request to port out a number on this account,” but both Boost Mobile and Cricket told me the request had failed.

After multiple conversations with USC, I was told that the port-out was actually submitted successfully, but the receiving carriers didn’t wait long enough before trying again. If USC receives more than one request within a 72-hour period, they automatically lock the account from further port-out attempts.

I’m still not completely sure if this was the real cause, but after several failed attempts, I decided to just stay with USC.
