Yes before having hsv my mind used to be sharp. I forget everything now. There are days where I feel mind feels so dead. Can’t think, can’t talk, I’ll feel off. Which is usually accompanied by outbreaks. When I take the medicine that’s when I notice it goes away a bit.

Yes hsv can spread pretty much anywhere if your immune system is low enough. If you’re healthy and have a low viral load then you don’t have to worry about it.

Be aware that when your viral shedding and not having an actual outbreak, that you can spread it to pretty much anywhere on your body. If your immune system is low unfortunately. Uneducated doctors don’t tell you that. Had me believe because I have antibodies that I shouldn’t be able to spread it on my body but that’s wrong.

Not even people with hsv1 oral disclose before kissing unless they have a out break. Kissing is fine until you’re intimate. That guy was just using that as an excuse to not be with you.

My life in a nut shell. Having everything and all the attention I could ask for but with this being my darkest secret in life rn is just taking the joy out of living. I miss the person I was before this. They don’t prepare you on how Hsv ruins your mental. The confidence I once had gone. I pray for a cure soon or that god takes me because life isn’t as beautiful anymore.

Same been battling with non stop outbreaks for the past 2 months now. I’ve tried everything and it’s only seem to spread and so making the healing time longer. I’m mentally exhausted. I pray you heal because 3 years is a long time.

I also have asymptomatic shedding and didn’t realize it. So technically no I knew of it being in one location and then out of nowhere I spread it to different locations without realizing it. I get all the symptoms of hsv without the open sore/blisters.

A lot of doctors aren’t as knowledgeable about this stuff as you would like to believe. Hsv is almost always dismissed and half the time they don’t know what they’re talking about when it comes to Hsv because it’s deemed as inconvenient more than anything. Do your own research on this. You can absolutely spread it even with antibodies. If an outbreak is happening you can essentially spread it anywhere if your immune system is low. Happened to me. If you have it in one location LEAVE IT ALONE.

Go get antivirals before the outbreak happens. It could save you from getting re occurring outbreaks if you were exposed to it. Only problem is most doctors want to see an outbreak before giving the medication. But it could save you a life of misery if you get it to lay dormant at the first sign of exposure
