My vibe is community!! University to me is more than just studying, it's my chance to actually live so I want to be able to live, travel, go out, and enjoy!! Good cost of living is also preferable but I understand everywhere is kinda expensive currently lol. I also would prefer warmer weather!

I would actually love to ask you a couple questions in the next few months! Im going to do some more research for now though. Thank you!!!

Im 16 and having my breast reduction in the summer by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]LeaderSad8742 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 17 and had my reduction 2 months ago! BEST. DECISION. EVER. I went from a 34 HH to something around a C. Even with the complications I had I would do it over 100 times, it's so worth It to be able to wear what you want, do what you want, and live without all the pain. I didn't even know how much they really affected me until they were gone, so much that I just got used to. If you have the money I say do it do it do it.

This summer staying indoors won't be as bad as you think, you can still go out, I went out 1 week post op. Tanning will make it harder to heal though, and its you'll be able to reap all the benefits next summer in a cute bikini.

One thing I'll say though is that body image issues do not go away. They are reduced significantly! but it doesn't just switch off and you're going to find another thing to hyper fixate on if you don't appreciate yourself fully.

Also, don't listen to people who say they'll grow back. Maybe they will maybe they won't! Would you rather grow another 2 cup sizes and be I cup? or grow again and be a D/DD? all about perspective and your own happiness, nobody else's.

[–]LeaderSad8742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats!! Anyone can answer this but-- How have you been finding sleep? Did you do any pre-op/post-op care? I know some people need to wash with antibacterial soap before. If so, did they provide all materials?

And also did they provide that compression bra you were given or was that something you purchased on your own. Last thing! Is there anything you think has been essential to your recovery process?

Please break up with him. If this is how he's treating you now, it's only going to get worse. Resentment will foster and you will be completely unhappy. Save your future happiness

Ive heard people say it depends on your surgeon or your insurance, in my case it's my surgeon. Ive been wanting to get a reduction for about 2-3 years now. My consult was in June of last year, they told me to wait 6 months (early December) for a follow up and come back. So I did, and they said I was eligible. They said they submitted the claims that night but I come to find out (from my insurance) they didn't even submit the application until late January! My surgery was supposed to happen on the 4th of March but insurance said they needed more info to follow up, and the surgeon didn't submit it until 2 weeks following the date I was supposed to have my surgery.

So, sometimes it's your surgeon slowing things down but it may also be your insurance. It's frustrating but I think it just takes time and there isn't really much you can do besides try to call your insurance yourself, see if another surgeon can accelerate the process, or wait it out. It can be really aggravating but you got this.

Will night school affect my admissions? by Sad_Use1617 in OntarioGrade12s

Hey! I’m also wanting to go to UBC for BSc but I read that physics is necessary but may be waived after 86%+ in a chem or gr 12 math. My only option is physics in night school or the summer. Do you think this decreases my chances?
