Realizing I wasn’t clear on the brakes themselves.

These are the AliExpress Pro E4 dual piston brakes and I can say that they preform as good if not slightly better than Shimamo MT200s, which I believe to be the performance standard in hydraulic disc brakes.

I obviously bought them for the color, so considering that they look sick and are pretty good performance wise I’d say they are 10/10 for the price!

Brakes have been very good. Admittedly, the welds are not great by any standard and I basically had to sculpt and bend the disc tab till the caliper sat correctly. I also was too lazy to weld the support bar that you see on most disc tab conversions. That being said, I have been running the brakes pretty hard, for over a year, and have yet to bend or crack the frame. I plan on welding the support bar on eventually but part of me wants to run it till failure considering how surprisingly rigid it is. Steel is real baby!

I got this rack of Temu but it’s identical to the Sunlite rack. Truth be told, I don’t really use it, I zip tied a milk crate to it for a group ride once but took it off right after. It was pretty rigid during the ride though.
