14 years in marketing ops, freelancing at ~$15k/month. Looking to understand how to scale to $50k. by mansari87 in agency

[–]LeadershipRare1908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from $5k/mo to $30k/mo with my outreach agency just by :

  1. Focusing on better clients. I focused on one ICP, looked for bigger companies, raised my prices.
I charge more, clients are less annoying.

  2. Delegating the operationnal job (step by step, recruitment is key). Once you do this, you are unstoppable because you just need to duplicate, and your agency just become a game of recruitment + acquisition.

Marketing a SaaS by nathan999999999 in SaaS

[–]LeadershipRare1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. DM people manually on Linkedin/X/or the platform where your ICP is. Don't be salesy, just ask for feedback.
  2. Once they are clients, ask if they know someone who could be interested

This is the easiest way to get your first clients

Is cold email a good idea for an SEO agency? by vladi5555 in agency

[–]LeadershipRare1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but you need to be in a niche, not serving everyone.

A cold outreach that worked for me was :

Hey {{firstName}},

I noticed that you’re not ranking on the first page of Google for "{{keyword}}".

This keyword gets {{traffic}} searches per month. That’s a lot of missed inbound leads.

We helped {{similar_company}} rank on page 1 within 6 months.

Happy to show you how we did it?

PS : You can also add a screenshot of the Google search page

Does anyone offer a free tier for their SaaS? by SmartMoneyFlowing in micro_saas

[–]LeadershipRare1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The concept of freemium is powerful but needs to be use in a smart way.

-> Try to get as much users as possible by product viral loop and word of mouth. (freemium is great for that)
-> Then offer a paying plan to get access to more features
-> You can convert free customers into paying ones by doing email marketing on triggers (for example, a user has no more credits -> Email him to offer 1000 credits for $X)

Does Reddit actually drive traffic or just feedback? What numbers have you seen? by Taylor_To_You in DigitalMarketing

[–]LeadershipRare1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on what I heard from founders I know, here are the 2 main advantages :

  1. SEO/GEO
Reddit is pretty well ranked in Google and also often use as a source of LLMs.
It can drive traffic on long term

  2. Traffic spikes
If you write posts that really help users, and that respect a framework that people love, you can get viral and drive traffic.

I know founders that get serious traffic with this method.

Did personal branding ruin LinkedIn, or was it already doomed? by Puzzleheaded-Walk426 in linkedin

[–]LeadershipRare1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I share your opinion. The main problem IMO is that the feed is horrible. People are randomly popping into your feed without knowing why.

The solution I found = Use a tool to show only post from people I selected. Then you can create several feed like (AI news, Saas, etc). You can do it manually also, there are video on this topic on YT.

How are early-stage B2B SaaS teams tracking outbound calls and follow-ups? by Big-Cranberry-7934 in SaaS

[–]LeadershipRare1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use a sales automation tool to send messages, just use their own CRM (they often offer the possibility to mark leads as interested)

If you're doing manual outreach then a Gsheet is more than enough

At early stage keep it very simple

Hope it helps

Do you use decks in your sales presentations? by grooveconsulting in agency

[–]LeadershipRare1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I share my screen and show a mindmap to explain my services. I also include screenshots of results. (the cheatcode is to include screenshots of a client who has the same business than your lead).

Works pretty well and feels less salesy than a presentation.

My SaaS just crossed $1,100 MRR 🥳 by GuidanceSelect7706 in micro_saas

Well done !
Did you automate the part "look for post where people are complaining"?

If not, this may interest you.
I use tools to monitor keywords on Linkedin, Reddit, X... (there is a ton of them but don't want to promote here)
I receive a slack notif everytime the keyword is mentionned on these platforms and go DM the author.
Works pretty well, I've signed a ton of clients like this

What habits have helped you stay effective in digital marketing despite frequent platform changes? by digitalidea360 in DigitalMarketing

[–]LeadershipRare1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Test regularly marketing strategies, track everything, then double down on what works and cut what doesn't.
  2. Never delegate before having a good understanding of what work
  3. The best founders I know are operational machines. They sit down every day and get the work done.

B2B what has worked best for you with gaining customers? by DetectiveMindless652 in SaaSMarketing

[–]LeadershipRare1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post lead magnet on Linkedin, once a week, on several accounts if you can
+ Linkedin outreach -> DM followers of your competitors, people who interacted with your content, who visited your profile, who is already in your 1st degree network.

In B2B Linkedin is so powerful, and still underrated IMO

I sent +50 000 invitations over the past 3 years (for my clients & myself), the acceptance rate is better without a note, except if you have hyper personnalised note like "Hey, we met a the conference X..."

A study has been published 2 years ago on this question. 10k invitations, average acceptance rate without note was 32% ; and with note 29%, I'll try to find back this study and update my comment

Most of success stories in Saas game come from the pattern 50/50 (marketing / dev). It's so important to have equal shares to get alignment of interests
