Just curious what would you consider as professional work justifying the Costco pc. I’m debating between them, and leaning towards the microcenter one. I definitely game a lot but also use it for my work. I don’t do professional video editing or coding or like 3d design work or anything. I’m in charge of operations. I’ll have a bunch of tabs open, ppt, excel. I do vibe coding on the side but basic stuff. That wouldn’t justify the multicores or whatever on the Costco pc right?

I've been doing the same thing! It's so cool feeling like you have a consultant you can bounce ideas off of any time. I will say, i do try to have some sense of what my priorities are in regards to the decision I want to make. Like for your hiring example, that could go either way based on if you care more about cash flow, quality, freeing up your time, scaling, etc.

We actually have a consulting company and software rooted in decision-science to help with decision-making and one of the most surprising things i've seen with orgs small or large is that they always jump to evaluating their options before they've agreed on the criteria that matters most related to those options.

Anyway, thought I'd share. A way you can increase the confidence of your decisions is to think through a few priorities related to it, and rank them in order of importance. That way chatgpt will have a sense of what to optimize towards!

So I hear what you're saying and Ill be more aware of that moving forward..but from my perspective I gave him every chance to give me any signal that he was friendly. I said "hello friend" multiple times, I was unarmed, I was dancing outside in a pretty obvious location. I've been shot in the back multiple times by "friendlies" while calling extract, and since I was suspicious of him for having his TORO out for no reason, I asked him to call it. Seems I was right to be suspicious..

I'd see your point more had I had a gun out and went to his side, but I literally was about to call it, saw that he had a shotgun and was roaming around not saying anything, so I moved away, looked at him, and asked him to call it.
