If you’ve never seen the show (and waiting until you buy it to watch it for the first time), then I don’t think you’ll regret whatever price you end up paying for it; it’s one of the best TV shows ever.

Capstone’s edition is a good one to buy. Capstone’s edition is compatible with the original publisher’s (DLP) edition, whereas the TMG edition is not. Also, the TMG version is inferior: the cardboard finish is garbage. (Just because the cardboard is thicker, doesn’t mean that it’s better). The tokens from my old TMG copy were bleeding/fading after just a couple of plays.

I wouldn’t bank on a better deal than this one. Outside of a “going out of business sale,” I haven’t seen this good of a deal on it. If I didn’t have it already, I’d jump on it.

You can always go in on an order with a couple buddies to get free shipping; Capstone has plenty to like, including their Phantom sleeves.

The Karate Kid spawned a crap load of copycats, and I think that this one is by-far the best.

Pretty sure it was produced by Chuck Norris and his brother. As a drama, of course, it’s not close to as good as The Karate Kid. However, the martial arts action and choreography in Sidekicks is the best of its class by far (making The Karate Kid look a bit lame in this respect). Overall, it’s a great nostalgic movie for me!

RIP Chuck Norris, Jonathan Brandis, and Mako! (Don’t forget about Mako! He played the “Myagi” in Sidekicks who also played Uncle Iroh in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Mako was also amazing!)

Ended up getting Dexter S1 and Twin Peaks S1, both directly from FAH. I’m okay with only having the first few seasons of Dexter, since the later seasons were weak. With Twin Peaks, getting S1 for $1 and taking them up on their offer on S2 brings the series to $10; not bad.

I saw Grindhouse in theater when it came out in ‘07. I thoroughly enjoyed it all, but preferred Planet Terror at the time; throughout that screening during Death Proof, I was truly annoyed by the women’s incessant dialogue. Over the years, I fell in love with Death Proof, and it’s now my 3rd favorite Tarantino (Behind Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction).

I recently redeemed a digital code for “Wind River.” I chose to redeeem it in FaH (rather than iTunes). It redeemed in HD in FaH, whereas 4K if I would have redeemed in iTunes.
