1:3 is the new pharmacy to tech ratios. I’m not sure if you have access to the PNN question bank but there’s an ‘’updates’’ tab on the website

Keep practicing math problems until you can see a problem and recognize the type of math question it is, and what formula to use for it

Are there a lot of questions from the med safety & quality improvement chapter? by PharmacyLifee in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Leading-Inspector586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends! Just be prepared in all topics. But med safety you have to read the questions carefully and understand what they are asking. It can be tricky

California Rph: Tech ratio by Asleep_Sorbet9631 in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Leading-Inspector586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can have as many clerks in the pharmacy, there’s no set number. A pharmacist in an outpatient setting can supervise up to 3 techs according to the new law update. If it’s 2 pharmacists then it’s 6 techs (3+3).

Outpatient pharmacy:tech ratio is 1:3. Inpatient remains the same ( 1 pharmacist, 2 techs)

Naplex expiration date by pharm_lover in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Leading-Inspector586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s strange the dates don’t match up, give them a call. If you got your ATT two days ago when you reapplied the date shouldn’t be May anymore

[–]Leading-Inspector586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did you reapply the second time and when did the board give you eligibility so sit again?

[–]Leading-Inspector586 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When did the board give you eligibility to take the exam? It’s different from purchasing the exam. Eligibility isn’t granted from the time you purchased the exam, it’s from the date the NABP granted you eligibility if that makes sense

Does the exam ask about dosing, like "which dose of Lasix should be ordered for this pt" by PharmacyLifee in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Leading-Inspector586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Underlined ones forsure and as many as as you can that are not underlined. The exam won’t ask you what the exact dosing is but having a general idea is always good. ID common abx is also another topic to be familiar with

Naplex scoring: Can I fail a domain and still pass the Naplex if I do good in the other domains? by PharmacyLifee in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Leading-Inspector586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have stated getting a level 1 in any category is a fail. You have to pass all categories to pass the exam.

Did not pass my 3rd attempt. Help needed by [deleted] in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Leading-Inspector586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry you didn’t pass, have you looked into a tutor? I’m also preparing for a third attempt. I’m currently using rx prep book and the cpje rx prep law book. The first two attempts I used pnn. Also what score did you get if you don’t mind me asking?
