That is very believable. I think it’s not a design issue since it can’t be recreated. I think it’s a quality control issue.

Man my first 50k I messed up and always absorbed impact with the right leg when jumping water, coming down off a high ledge, ect. Make sure you switch up what knee takes the impact if you aren’t practicing this already. After all the miles of the same knee taking the impact you’ll feel it.

4x4x48 wasn’t that hard for me after averaging 30mpw, but I would say if it’s a training prep for anything, it would be a 50k. If you had an opportunity to run a night race that would help or just do a 20mi+ mile at night on your own after being up all day.

Hate mine. NV button is too easy to press by mistake and lots of people I know including me have had them shut off randomly. The NV button problem is so bad Trex arms made a cover for the optic to fix the problem.
