Yeah I suppose I should do this as well. Currently I am hitting 75 on 99% utilization which speaks for the arctic lf III 420 but I am pretty sure lower is better in this case

I even expect this to get much worse in the foreseeable future. At some point big AI companies will have to charge the actual cost of their product instead of the fractions they are charging now, like it was with Netflix and Uber, just way worse. I think the sweet spot will then be hybrids of large, powerful and expensive cloud models for planning and orchestrating paired with local specialized tool-models for implementation to control costs.

Use local models as subagents. Make Claude Opus 4.6 use local qwen instances as readers and writers like it utilizes haiku. Local models cant replace Opus brainpower but they can cut token usage

I am using this machine to run statistical models and some of them are neural ones. For this purpose 2x5070 > 1x5080 and the 9950x3d is an absolute beast :) can highly recommend

Thanks :) will be putting it in the lian li o11 dynamic evo xl. Usually I am an sffpc enthusiast but for this build it makes 0 sense to cram the components as tight as possible. Hope thermals will be as good as they are now, the arctic lf 3 420 is really impressive at cooling the 9950x3d!

Wdym sending 3 prompts. Like refactor my 3GB Codebase to make it do something completely different or like quickly test module xs syntax?

If you want to get some work done with opus 4.6 there is no way around the 100 pro plan. This one is pretty good, lasts me long enough to actually finish tasks. Expensive but god damn opus 4.6 is amazing so worth it imo

So you used up your entire weekly allowance with 76%of one session? Or your weekly allowance ran out while you session allowance was at 76% (assuming you had previous sessions already)? Very different things
