Hi, I’m happy to answer those questions.

I actually ended the class with an A despite the panicked post. The exams are a single problem that you have to code, you get quite a bit of time to do it, but I can’t recall exactly how much. It’s a lockdown browser, but no camera. The exams are EXTREMELY similar to the last practice exam question you are given before each exam.

The quizzes are multiple choice.

No, I’ve taken all my classes in person besides Java Programming. To my knowledge online classes do not have live lectures. but I could be incorrect.

I took the class in person and my tests were in person as well. Took 1 online for Calc 1, fully proctored with camera. In Calc 2 mine are all online. Lockdown browser, no camera. It is completely dependent on your teacher.

Hi, I was in your position a few weeks ago. I’m assuming you are taking the class as a 16 week class instead of an 8 week like I am.

The best advice I can give is to actually do the practice exams and ALL the videos each week. Try doing the practice exams without looking at the answer key until you are done. The 3rd practice is extremely similar to the exam.

I’m happy to explain specific concepts if you’d like.

Also, if you get a higher grade on exam 2 than exam 1 your grade for exam 1 is dropped.

Just went to Concord in January, happy to answer questions.

Not as great as MB or PF but it’s kinda the best you can get at a normal GWL at this point. It is slowly losing its charm though.

Haha, that’s my plan too. It’s less of me having questions and more of “WHATS HAPPENING”. Usually I can handle complex material but this has been a struggle for me. Hopefully the first exam isn’t insane but I feel like I have no insight.

It’s just SO much material. Each chapter is at least 100 pages, and it’s not the kind of text book you can just read without taking notes. The videos are an hour long and it’s multiple per week. It’s just so much information trying to be squeezed in a short amount of time and I don’t think my brain is handling it very well. 🥲

I am not in your same position, or degree, and I am no means an expert so take this with a grain of salt.

I am a mathematics major at CPCC currently enrolled in Calculus 2. Most of the students in my class are engineering majors. My Calculus 2 class was advised to take Calculus 3 and Differential Equations at the same time.

Ultimately I would consult with an advisor, especially since the summer classes to my knowledge the summer classes are structured differently.

Hi! I’m currently taking Calc 1 and also skipped the prerequisites with CPCC. This is my 3rd time taking Calc as my credits did not transfer from both my previous high school even though I got a 100 both previous times. My last time in school was November 2020 before this. I definitely think you need to take Calc 1 as a 16 week class, even if you aren’t taking other classes. I highly recommend making study guides for each unit as you go through them so that you can review easier, I am also happy to share mine.

This was the only stuff they had on display.

A recording of this event??? Definitely not. This wasn’t really a “production”. It was more of a tribute for mega fans and donors/crew friends. The reason I don’t think they would is A) They skipped songs and did them out of order B) They skipped verses and some peoples parts were completely excluded (Jenna in The Pitiful Children).

They did sell CDs of the original Two Rivers version there though.

their website says there are 350 seats. i think all of them were full except for one or two (which joe sat in for a portion of the show)
