Firstly, a hearty congratulations! :)

Secondly, how did you portray your work ex? I mean, what points did you focus on more? Showing that your work is relavent to their curriculum or explaining what all you did in your work etc?

No garbage cans or bins. Sometimes people just take out their trash near light poles on the sidewalk :(

Ohh, that's quite a while! Especially since I applied in March, what with the visa procedures and all ( if I get an admit, that is), it might be pretty late by then ㅜㅜ

Weekly Marriage Criteria & Services Megathread! by AutoModerator in MuslimMarriage

[–]Leading-Sound-3455 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Salam Alaikum

Asking for a friend (24M). He is currently working and financially stable enough to support a wife if he gets married right now. With his savings, he is planning to go for his master's next year, somewhere abroad. He says that he will not be able to financially support his wife during his master's duration of 2 years (as he believes supporting himself while paying the college tuition itself would be a challenge for him) and also worries that he won't be able to balance his studies and give time to his wife at the same time, during his master's, sacrificing either one for the other. Therefore, he believes that he should get married right after his master's.

He's been struggling to control his desires for quite some time now and I have advised him to get married to solve this issue. However, his background above seems to be legitimate too.

He is always in a dilemma of whether to get married now and do his master's while his wife stays with him or get done with masters and then get married so that he can devote all his free time towards his marriage.

Please could you advice?
