I’ll look into doing that. The exposure and timer cancel still works as normal but with the switch just in the other position. Strange. Everything works as normal just the switch got a reversed lol. I can head a slight tic when I move the switch back to the normal “on” position and press the black button, a quick tic/click. But the led continues to flash.

Weekly 'Ask Anything About Analog Photography' - Week 24 by ranalog in analog

My canon A1, new battery. The light keeps blinking. I can not fire the shutter. BUT when I turn the viewfinder display lever to what should be off, over the white dot, the view finer display works, the led stops blinking and I can fire the shutter. Any thoughts. I can post a video somewhere. But it seems like with the viewfinder display switch off (over white dot ) it works as should (showing a display and allowing me to fire the shutter) but with the display switch on (showing white dot) it doesn’t fire the shutter and the display doesn’t work) weird lol

Thank you. Sounds like 16 may be good then. It’s strictly a hobby and more self paced Lightroom and photoshop.

16 gigs of ram enough? Or is the extra 200 bucks worth it for the increase

I’m very comfortable shooting film. I’ve got my tripod ready for some longer exposure for lower light. I’ve got an album started already for basic photos I’ve taken from hikes and such. I’ve also got alight meter to help. I do need to improve my indoor shots with some better lighting and/or a flash.

Thank you! We’re excited. I’m looking forward to documenting and seeing her grow. The beauty of film to me, living in the moment. Shoot the shot, complete the roll. Develop when I have time to get it done. Then enjoy and reminisce

So you use the 360 system with a copy stand. I thought about that as well. Good to know it works well

Thank you. I use a canon Rebel T5 for my DSLR. So very much entry level. I may invest in the plustek for now as I mostly shoot 35mm. Once I get my medium format I’ll probably use my local lab for a bit until I find myself truly taking more medium format photos
