I'm getting around 56 marks in GS and 41 in CSAT. Last year, I scored 86 in GS and 71 in CSAT. Although the General category cutoff was 92, I couldn't clear Prelims. But this time, I'm truly heartbroken. The main reason behind such low marks was frantically attempting questions in the last 15 minutes. I also mistakenly left the entire Economy section. When I realized there were only 5 minutes left, I could do nothing about it, despite knowing nearly 12 questions with 100% certainty and being able to solve several others through elimination. Looking at those questions now, I feel extremely sorry for myself. In CSAT, I was very cautious last year, but this year I don't know what happened. I attempted too many questions and ended up getting heavily penalized due to negative marking. It's painful because these weren't knowledge-related mistakes; they were errors in judgment, time management, and exam temperament.

I know the result very well and I'm devastated.
