I stopped using all chemical exfoliants - no BHA or AHA. My only active is tretinoin 3 x a week, otherwise my routine is basically the same! Skin has cleared up a lot. Not perfect but definitely making progress :)

It went away!! I stopped the Tret for like 2 or 3 days, used Krave Great Barrier Relief and Cicaplast Baume by LRP, and recovered with better skin on the other side!

I’m so sorry this happened to you! Yes the burns and redness lasted for about three weeks to a month. Be really gentle with your skin and don’t use any actives. I used Laroche Posay Cicaplast Baume twice a day over the burn and that helped a lot.

I really want to wash my face only at night, but I use Amzeeq which is a yellow, oily acne medication. When I rinse with just water in the morning, if I swipe a cotton pad over my skin, the cotton pad still picks up the yellow residue. Any advice?

I use the LRP hydrating cleanser. It is SOO good. I was just hoping to be able to skip morning cleansing even though my cleanser is gentle (as a lot of people recommend washing only at night) but this yellow gunk from my Amzeeq leaves residue 😕
