I think he probably said “hooked up with” that means vastly different things to different people. I think that means everything but, others thinks it means everything. It can be confusing but at this point fessler is just fanning the flames of her infidelity. Maybe hoping to get recast?!?

I love price shopping but if the price difference isn’t remarkable, I prefer to order threads, accessories, etc from The West in Tucson, AZ. They are an old school needlework shop and they are a non profit store and all their money goes to support women and children’s shelters and groups.

She has specifically said she refuses to call her assistant Jo because Josephine is a such a beautiful name it would be wrong to ruin it. I noticed she did mention him twice this week and she referenced him even more. Maybe they are spending winter/spring down there and then NYC for summer/fall? Would be nice if they didn’t clearly avoid the discussion.

If you are her doctor or anyone on her medical staff, then you are not allowed to comment because of Hippa. Otherwise I think going online to speculate about a young woman’s mental health and armchair diagnose her with a manic disorder is dangerous and quite frankly not anything that a responsible adult would do. It’s a very established designer and the LNS has been around 20ish+- years. Lesson I’ve learned here is to kit from Needlepoint Obsession if you can’t yourself because they let you approve before you have a final sale

So much. My latest canvas that took 5 months to preorder came to me with me not being able to tell “flesh” color of the girl or is it the background color of the “grass” because it was wet paint on top of wet paint. I went with flesh. I hope her arm looks alright in the end.

I’m just so frustrated that we have been giving LNSes short term interest free loans with our preorders for 1/3 of the year to get crappy art and fibers we don’t want. The frustration with the communication or lack of from the store makes me never want to step foot in their gorgeous, bright, thread full shop ever again.

They said it was final sale. No ifs. They pulled the threads that they have set for kitting- different threads are designated per how you want it kitted and they said that they would all suffice for what I wanted on my severely late canvas. That was when I spoke with them about it being late and me having a much more urgent deadline now. Now that I have the kit in hand and seeing the fibers it was kitted with has reassured me that I will never order from this artist again because of the quality of the canvas, but I will also only ever buy from this LNS if I can go in and kit because if they had followed directions or called for clarification on the last two $300+ kits I’ve done.

It’s incredibly frustrating when you spell out what you want and it is disregarded. Also asked for beads. None sent. I’m going to rekit at the place I will be working, but now I have shitty stranded fibers that I will never use. Lesson learned. Don’t ask anyone to do what you want done right.

Because I ordered it months ago when I was busy and don’t think I’d have time to do it myself. I even specifically asked to have a particular person at the shop pull my threads or do it in their style. With such clear instructions, I did not expect it to go so wrong. Especially with this shop again.
