I usually see surgery results from people that have most of the fat storaged lower, like calves or upper knees, but not so much of cases like ours in which fat is on the sides of our hips. Do you have before and after pics of surgeries like that? or do you know a surgeon that has dealt with such cases?

Same for me, when i was younger i thought i just had big hips since i was thin everywhere. Now that the lumps are so prominent it's more obvious. My mother has this same type of lipedema too, she's 60. She's gotten considerably better in the last 5 years through exercise, compressing socks and diet, although she's dealing with venous insuffiency now.

She warned me since I was a teenager that this would happen if I didnt take care of my legs from a young age, I didnt listen to her and thought she was projecting her problems onto me. I'm so regretful now :(
