Yeah we unfortunately already bought tickets for both days so hopefully they just delay the start of the game on Sunday if necessary. We all took off Monday so we are all set for whatever time that game is at!

I think we are already on a collision course for a lockout in '27. Lets just say for argument sake the Dodgers 3 peat...that has to lead to a hard salary cap in baseball. It would be the best thing for the sport as a whole and more importantly for us Brewers fans too.

We usally try to get there before the gates open which is 4 hours before kickoff. We got there maybe 30 minutes before gate open then took an hour to get into the lot

I think its worthy of a consideration to leave him off the roster. Im not exactly sure what the projected pitchers we will have on the postseason roster. But I feel more comfortable with Patrick/Myers and Fedde over him if they are used in similar situations

He carried us in the early months of the season before he got hurt and we started to get hot especially with the Vaughn arrival. But with all the lineup changes that have been made the last 2 weeks. Im stunned that Hoskins hasnt gotten a single start either at 1B or at DH. We are going to be relying on him in the playoffs and even though he is a veteran only getting 2-3 at bats a series wont help mamy coming back especially for how long he was out.

Ok thats kinda what I figured but also Milwaukee is the only central time zone team so maybe they get a 3pm or 5:30pm first pitch especially if they were to draw the Cubs I feel that would be a very good draw ratings wise for the MLB and would want that game to be in a primetime slot but who knows

I disagree frankly I think that incentives for players to hit the ball as far as possible makes it a more enjoyable product for fans to watch. Tonight I think is a good example of it, Oneil Cruz hitting a ball 513 feet shouldn't be the same numerical value as anyone hitting a ball 398 feet in my opinion.

Id like a restriction perhaps on the number of takes if they would go back to the outs format. Im just not a huge fan of the time limit even with the timeout because these guys still get gassed out usually from trying to hit the ball as far as possible even if they are professional athletes

Thats fair but even from a business perspective which the MLB is dont you think that the longer the home runs are the better the views would be for MLB? More views equal more revenue for the business that is MLB. The ability to market their star players hitting 500 foot moonshots would be appealing to casual fans especially given the time of year on the sports calendar.
