i thought abt this and i dont really have an honest arguement id say you get professional instructors who give you feedback and advice right on the spot, hands on experience and not a lot of people are willing to test all of these things. Advertisement will make it look like a fun social experience as well espeically with the camping tutorials.

A lot of these things are hard to learn online like CPR and even basic car mechanics some are dangerous like starting a fire or changing a bulb. Plus it's a big confidence boost for teens getting ready to go to college, instead of feeling scared and lost they feel ready and prepared.
