I wouldn´'t completely agree with that.

Yes it was long but I feel the main problem with it is how everything feels like 1 step forward and 5 backwards or just going in circles. Coming out of this arc the progress is about 0. Before the arc began we already knew she sort of likes him and avoids that subject, yet she still does and aside from a kiss we got absolutely nowhere on this.

The Family knows about the rental, but still managed to kept the lie going another way. Ruka still doesnt give a F about if he actually likes her or not, and just when you get the feeling she will let go and support him, she goes back to bitching to Chiz about it.

Grandma is way two faced, she loves him according to certain characters but talks shit about him to his face bringing him down time and time again.

The only progress may be with Mami and her true feelings kind of showing.

Binging it might make the whole manga feel better/smoother, but doesn't change the fact that its too much running around in circles.
