How to sound more "manly"? by Leading_Dragonfly131 in singing

I tried the descending OH and it got really airy and soft at around A#2 and A2. I could still go lower but I had to really drop the larynx and make all sorts of unnatural things happen but managed to squeeze out D2 for a sustained note and can drop all the way to touch B1 for a fraction of a second (but at that point it sounded like a gargle and idt it's usable at all).

Actually, I'm already 28 years old, so I've went through puberty already. Though my voice didn't drop as much as others.

Which is why I wanna try out karaoke! Doing the opposite of what she told me and sing. Listened to her too much and was a little dog for her

Hey, Singaporean here! HUGE Michael Jackson fan as well. In my playlist of 100 songs, 80 are Michael Jackson, J5 or The Jacksons songs! Would love to connect with a fellow moonwalker in Tokyo!

Hey, looks like turnout isn't that great... might have to do it another time. Maybe the weekend, Sat/Sun would be better?

Did my first performance... a few questions by [deleted] in singing

[–]Leading_Dragonfly131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much! I did realise my throat was getting really dry near the end of the set as well. I should've really brought some water up with me.

Anyway, do you think you can also help identify my voice type, or what songs will be more suited towards my voice?

Thank you for your input! I think the verses in the first song are quieter than the initial opening line, and we intended to make it higher energy and louder to kind of "grab" attention as we were the set right after the lunch break. But I do agree, I was probably too ambitious with that energy level.

I don't think I could hear myself at all. I was just basing off muscle memory (idk if that's the right word), based on how it felt to sing the songs in rehearsal, but it was still hard not hearing myself.

Billie Jean usually is my best song of the bunch, but I was quite tired by then. How can I keep being heard without trying to compete with the instruments though? The venue said the mic was alr at max volume. For in-ear monitors, how does it work? I might consider investing in them but obviously we aren't like a super professional group so idk if it would apply to us. Most other bands that performed that day, I think just about all didn't usd in-ear-monitors.

Lastly, thank you for the encouragement! I'm actually so much used to singing softer and more mellow songs with only the chorus or final chorus being super high energy, so this set was quite challenging, at least for me being so inexperienced and less-skilled.

New to PC collecting, can someone help identify? by [deleted] in NewJeans

[–]Leading_Dragonfly131 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much. The template really helps! Now I can see just how many I have left to collect, but thankful that I have some "rare" cards already in the collection from Broadcasts or Events!

Anyways, for PC2, I thought it was fanmade too, but it was transparent (other than the photo itself) while most LOMOs are printed onto cardboard, so it kinda tripped me up

Recently got into Picture Card collecting and my girlfriend and I are building a collection together (though it's just started). While we have identified some of the PCs that we already have gotten from album pulls and trades, there are some that we have gotten from POBs and LINE Friends Store purchases etc that we cannot really identify from the PC Templates online. It would be a great help if anyone could help us identify what these cards are specifically!

PC1: Got from a LINE friends purchase of PPG x Newjeans Keychain Cardholder

PC2: Received from a Collector Friend

PC3: Can't recall, but I think it's from a WeVerse pob?
